Tatar is the Wings best player by far lately. Definitely should move him for a bust like Myers. HSJ knows all.

I would rather see Tatar up with Pav instead of Helm, but this is an improvement over Weiss stuck on the 4th line. Gotta get two points tonight. The schedule is way too tough coming up not to take advantage of the Oilers.

I agree with you. Hypothetically though, do we believe Blashill would be that different from Babcock? Because I think Blashill gets the job should Babs leave after this season.

HSJ is the absolute worst. She's a mouthpiece for Holland and the organization. No way she would ever pose a question that countered the decision making of Holland or Babs. This is what people were talking about too over the summer when nobody in the media dared to blast Holland or even force him to answer questions about giving a raise to Kyle Quincey, re-signing Dan Cleary and failing to obtain a quality d-man for the third consecutive year. She has time to write about trading the Wings top goal-scorer for another s***ty d-man, though.

Not an ideal start to the trip. Go back to being the team that played with speed and tried to outscore the opposition instead of just hoping to only allow a goal or two. Babs is really getting frustrating with his insistence to turn this group into something they aren't. Also, Franzen has no purpose anymore. Pulkkinen would definitely offer more on the third line and power play. Huge mistake not buying him out last summer and cutting bait when they had the chance.

Nothing good happens with Franzen out there. Vacated the right point off the faceoff for some unknown reason.

What a waste of Weiss. The Red Wings can't score goals for a month basically and he's on the fourth line still. Babs needs to break up the Euro Twins, too. Tatar with Pav, Gus with Z and build from there.
