This league is a complete joke. The officials have absolutelty no accountability at all. There's no defense to continue to have this level of officiating every season. Far too many games are influenced by the dudes in stripes and not in uniforms. Let the players decide games.

Weiss must really be in the doghouse because Andrej Nestrasil has not been good at hockey so far. The Wings desperately need top-six players/talent, so I'm still hoping Weiss figures it out and gets a shot again soon.

Holland deserves credit for building organizational depth through the draft, but make no mistake he tried to overpay for UFA's and just failed. Whether you think that worked out for the better is another story. He overpaid for Quincey anyways, so that has to count.The Wings still need a top four d-man and goal-scoring winger. They didn't attempt to sign Niskanen, Boyle and Ehrhoff because they thought they were set there. While I am impressed with their start so far, it doesn't change what is needed to get to the next level yet.

Well, Z certainly has and Franzen before he got hurt. But yeah, not so much from everyone else yet. Tatar hasn't played poorly so far, though I am a little disappointed he has just one goal.

57 minutes were agonizing and then it got fun. Kronwall was terrific tonight, so was DeKeyser. Jimmy probably had a couple soft goals against, but he had some huge saves too in the first when it could have gotten real ugly. Never a dull moment with this team.

Wow! What effort by Z to get that puck to Abby. Zetterberg is unreal. His determination is just on a completely different level.

Could have been much worse than down 2-1. Smith is being under utilized. No PP time and stuck on the third pairing with Kindl. I don't know why Babs went away from Smith and DeKeyser.

I'm glad we keep scratching a former 50-60 point player and then continue scoring one or two goals per game.
