The Red Wings have controlled the game and the Pens have still gotten three consecutive power plays. How does that work? I don't want to see these idiots in the playoffs because the refs always give them the Crosby factor treatment. -

Great period and then there's Quincey ruining it at the end with his standard bad penalty per game. -
If Z was playing, I would say absolutely the Pens would prefer Columbus. Otherwise, I think it's pretty much a wash. I do believe the Red Wings will be a slightly tougher out, though.

Huge win. It was rather boring and emotionless, but doesn't matter in the big picture. One more point to make the playoffs. Get the clubs out, Leafs!

Smith! Nice pass by Franzen. Kronner better be OK. Awful follow up after tying the game. Need some momentum and take a penalty.

Franzen is a complete non-factor. Never been a more infuriating player to watch.

Should have stayed on the ice and sold it. That's how refs determine the severity of boarding.

I just don't like Datsyuk with Franzen. Seems like it should be a decent fit and it never turns out to be.

92 would be pretty safe as it means the Devils would have to win out. However, that isn't too improbable given their remaining schedule. The Red Wings absolutely have to beat the Sabres and Hurricanes at minimum. Stealing a point at Pittsburgh would really help the cause too. I think the Red Wings will ultimately get in, as they still control their own destiny, but Tuesday's game is massive.

Oh well, most disappointing part was coming back only to have the third pairing ruin it. I guess Montreal needs an offside goal to go-ahead in every meeting. Need to try and minimize Kindl and Lashoff's minutes. Losing E really hurts because one of those plugs would be scratched otherwise. Gotta get a win on Tuesday. The Devils are only four back and have a very easy schedule. The Wings need four points minimum still.

Holy s***, that's goaltender interference. Kindl and Lashoff cost the Wings at least a point tonight. Why are they on the ice so damn much late in the third?

I would easily take Jimmy over Fleury, Mason and Bishop. All three are having good seasons, but people rip Jimmy for consistency and he has strung better play together for longer than any of those three.

The Devils are winning tonight and their last four games are ridiculously easy. Flames, Senators, Islanders and a Bruins team with nothing to play for. The Wings absolutely have to beat the Sabres and Hurricanes and maybe try to steal a point in Pittsburgh.
