There's Eddie! Took 40 minutes, but he worked it in. Probably was about to explode having not mentioned the cheating Red Wings for so long. Get this ****** off national telecasts.

The veterans on this team are nonexistent. Bertuzzi should just never play, Franzen doesn't appear to be having fun and Legwand has been rather unspectacular again tonight. Huge kill to start the third. If the Wings can miraculously pull off a point even that would be a win.

Kindl is a bum. Such a disappointment after he finally showed some promise and confidence last season. Has to officially be considered a bust now.

Tatar! I like the second PP forwards much more than the first. Franzen and Bertuzzi just don't do much of anything productive.

Defense doesn't move the puck well enough to handle the Bruins forecheck. The Wings got manhandled that period, which was somewhat expected. Need to play in the other end far more to have any shot in this game.

The Red Wings really need E back. It's terrifying when Quincey, Kindl or Lashoff are on the ice. That's half the damn defense that isn't competent at anything.

That's really, really bad. Fitting Chris Rooney called it too. He is awful at his job.

The Wings can't handle the Bruins forecheck right now. The d-men get pressured and cough the puck up.

Helm with two anchors for wingers. Give him Abby or Miller at least.

Would be huge if the Wings could steal a point or two in this game. Got quite a bit of help last night and the Wings could go three up on Columbus. The Bruins are a machine right now, so it will be tough, but this is the type of game the Red Wings typically do well in playing up to the competition.

I don't want to face the Bruins or Penguins either, but if the Wings get in, they are going to play one of those teams. Catching the Flyers is irrelevant because the Wings can't do any better than a wild-card unless the Canadiens or Lightning really tank.

Agreed, the old playoff format was much better. What's the point of emphasizing divisional matchups if a team could spend the first two rounds outside of their own division? You also get punished for being in tougher divisions by the top three seeds automatically qualifying regardless.

What a terrible goal. Should have cruised the final four minutes and now it's a one-shot game.

The officiating is horrendous. How do you not call that? I have no idea what the standard is in this garbage league anymore.

Andersson! Good response because the Wings have mostly controlled play in the period. Franzen is definitely engaged.

That goal should have never happened. The Lightning had too many men, negated a Helm breakaway and then scored. Didn't think Bertuzzi was playing, but Abby picked him up with a pass that went backwards.
