I am no Kyle Quincey fan, but that was not interference. Just a good defensive play to take his man out.

Ferraro is not very good. Hate to make a snap judgment, but there is just nothing impressive about him so far.

Howard is stealing this game right now. The Wild are controlling play.

Really wasn't a very good period, but the result feels nice. Gus learned something from Z about carrying the team on his back. Jimmy was the difference. Could have easily been a deficit before Nyquist got loose.

By flu, I believe they mean being awful at hockey illness. I will give some credit and say Bert has been at least respectable on a line with Miller and Glendening lately. Not a huge fan of Andersson either, but when Bert gets over his "illness", that should end the Ferraro experiment which is a positive. Two points tonight! Can head into Columbus with a three point lead on Tuesday.

Reimer is terrible. The Leafs look like the most vulnerable team around the Red Wings right now.

He was fantastic today. That isn't blind praise. Also, you do realize there are plenty of people here on the opposite end of the spectrum regarding Howard, right?

Great PK to end regulation for the second consecutive game. Smith should be first star -- that might have been his most complete game in his career. Legwand, Sheahan and Kindl were all good too. Officiating was horrendous, but what's a little more adversity for this group? Keep rolling with Jimmy tomorrow. He is playing well and getting wins.

Look at the posts directly following Howard allowing a goal after a penalty shot, of all things. Then not a peep after he makes two huge saves to preserve a lead.

Is Franzen missing because of that non-call getting his head slammed into the boards? Miller just took a shift in Mule's spot.

Franzen only made contact because he got knocked into the goalie. Not like he was the one that even initiated the bump.

Jimmy with two nice saves. Lots of average goaltending from him today.

This officiating is unreal. Hand the Wild a goal and take one away from the Wings for no apparent good reason. The NHL blows. Incompetent refs that continuously have no consequences for sucking at their job.

Ferraro is a mess in his own zone. I like his speed, but if he's gonna make the team next season, he better clean up the turnovers playing for Babcock. My apologies. I misunderstood and thought you meant the Wings were fortunate to be tied with Smith playing so much.

Smith has been good. Much better than having Kindl or Lashoff log that much time when Kronner was gone.

Came on strong the second half of the period. Pretty much had the puck the entire time except for the obligatory last minute scare. Helm looks good so far. Huge relief to have Kronner back.

No, because it took 70 games and Kindl will still somehow get PP time over Smith with Kronwall back.
