I also thought Jimmy was really good, despite the four goals against. He had some huge saves on the long PK and the one on Sutter's breakaway in the third kept it a one-goal game. Nyquist is becoming a star. He's the best player the Red Wings have right now. Great work by Glendening playing against Crosby and Smith was noticeable too in a positive way. Still pumped up after that finish.

AHL Red Wings > Crosby and Malkin Sorry. That was the best game of the season by far. With all of the things that have gone against the Red Wings, that GWG was a long time coming. Gotta be a huge confidence boost for all the young guys. They played hard all night and battled through adversity when the Pens took the lead. Unsung hero was Emmerton on the PK. I don't know how anyone can think Babs hasn't done miracle work this season. The fact this group of players competes like they have and has a chance to get in the playoffs is truly remarkable. What a night. Very proud of the Wings.
