About as good of a period as you can hope for given the discrepancy in talent. The Wings were bad at getting the puck out of their own end, though. -

Tatar is so careless in his own zone. -
It's incredible the Red Wings have any shot whatsoever. I still don't think it will happen, but Babs has done stellar work keeping the team afloat. There's no reason for them to be this close to a playoff spot.

You lost to an AHL team, Randy. I think there are bigger problems at hand than interference.

What happened to two weeks for E? Even the timeframes turn out worse, on top of the sheer number of injuries. Defense is atrocious. Already was, but it's in really bad shape now without E. Maybe Holland will upgrade that sore spot eventually. Not sure why it has taken two years minimum already.

Six consecutive games now with an injury. Absolutely nuts on top of what they were already missing. It has been non-stop since the lockout ended.

E gone for awhile with a broken finger. Even good nights can't end well.

Obviously huge two points. It might have been lights out with a loss. Gus and Jimmy with great performances. Lots of mistakes and sloppy defensively, but somewhat expected given the players out there. Hopefully E is OK. That third period was ugly without him. It's basically Kronwall and DeKeyser plus four mistakes on defense.

Of course. Nothing is ever easy. Kindl and Lashoff on the ice with a minute left pretty much sums up the shambles on defense.

This league is so predictable. Here come all the calls to even up the penalty tally. You get a lead and then get rewarded with penalties. You know, because it's not possible one team does actually commit more infractions.

How does he get behind everyone on a penalty kill? Quincey is a joke. I wouldn't want him back for half of his overpaid salary.
