I totally agree with this thread, if the Wings had more NA talent they might have more interest. I would like to think that when Helm and Abdelkader get moved up, however i think in order to really spark interest i believe they would have to be top 6 forwards. Or maybe if Drapes stayed around then we could have a whole NA 4th line.

The post is actually pretty funny, but it is true the idea of a Pens blog ranting about how the Wings whine is quite ironic.

I agree with ESAD, I've been to GR a couple of times to watch the Griffins and Leino definitely has not dominated any games that I have seen. Could be because all the games I went to were on Fridays and I was loaded up on $1 beer. Wish him all the best though in the next couple of starts he gets at the real level. Also, I'm up at school but anyone who is going to the game make sure to give Downey a big ovation, he deserves it after sticking with the team after he knew that GR would be a role (I know I know he cleared waivers). There is no difference between his sacrifice and Z with his new contract, if anything Downey has sacrificed much more and is fully dedicated to the Wings.

In all honesty we could not sign any of those three and i still would not be that disappointed. That is how much i trust Kenny "God" Holland.

i know there is no big 4 anymore. i was just trying to see if anyone could name 3 other title contenders. I guess now it comes down to the fact that nobody can name 1 other title contender. I know we are Homers for thinking the wings are the only one, but thats the reason we belong to this site.

Who would you guys consider the big four now??? I would have to say 1. Us 2. Montreal - best chance of coming out of the East this year 3. San Jose - even though they haven't won one, and their window is closing 4. Pitt maybe otherwise Anaheim only because they won it 2 years ago, can't think of another elite team. obviously we are number 1. 2 3 4 could be pretty much anyone right now i guess

I talked to the guy that said he saw it on Sopcast.. it was only a radio link i think... as for hocekywebcasts.com or MyP2p.eu i don't think they have anything up... we might be able to listen to it again online over a radio station site however.
