i have to admit i love a fan base, who loves their team, who loves their players so much that they have fans waiting for them at the airport. just can't wait for this season to begin come on you boys in red!

Dont usually ever have a second fav other than the wings... but this year i will be rooting for the blackhawks. I want another original 6 team and fellow central division rival to do well. We havent even had an interestiong division race in forever and would love to have it at least be a little bit interesting.... no doubt though that the wings have only gotten stronger and will probably crush everyone else.

couldn't be happier to see him in our colors... that has to strike fear into everyone, not just the goaltenders. I really dont see how any team will be able to withstand the onslaught from our top 3 lines...

I just thought it was something cool to see a wings fan throw our symbol at an away game. Also, you heard loud cheers everytime we scored and the Columbus fans had to cheer just to cover up the boo's of our fans everytime Feds touched the puck. We have by far the best fans who travel and loyal fans outside Michigan... just saying keep it up...

Hey i found this on espn.com where they listed all the top teams as far as fan satisfaction. the tigers pistons and red wings are all listed in the top 18... all the others in front of us are cities where they really only have one sports team... (i.e. san antonio spurs, nashville, indianapolis.) With such a good rating do you guys rank Detroit as one of the best sport cities in america? i believe so, just look at it now where there is so much excitement for the tigers and the wings and pistons are looking good heading into the playoffs, both with title hopes and an actually chance at winning it all....
