YES!!!!!!!!! I think some people are losing the point on this one. facts are we're not Ken Holland and its not our decision to make. we're only stating what we would do if we were Kenny. it's pretend .... fantasy.... not real ...... people should just chill out and not get their panties in a twist about this.

Ouchy that sucks, looks like the Devils season just fell apart. it'd be intresting to watch and see how they cope without him. he's held their team together so long. I hope he gets back asap.

okay well to get my team under the cap i'd trade Sammy...... say I strike while the iron is hot and he's hitting a bit of form. for a pick or two. as for me liking Kopecky. i've always liked him cause I've followed the guy's career and thaught he's had the potential to be a player who holds a bigger role on any team he's played in but has always had problems with injuries. he's a big body and doesn't mind throwing it around once in a while. I want Helm in thne team plain and simply because the guy has so much energy and drive. he plays with heart and has the potential to have a big role on our team. Abdelkader is a young guy who is playing really well and putting up points. if he played for nearly any other NHL team he'd be in the starting line up. so I thaught that my team would bring alot of energy and enthusiasm and with our veterans like Lidstrom, Chelios and Draper on the team it'd be smart to take advantage of this while they are still around and let the young guys learn from them.

I miss the Zetts - Dats -Homer line too. I can see why they changed it seeing they signed up Hossa and want to fit him in somewhere. but I also think its effected the gelling of the team in some ways too having them split up.

I find your tone offending and think that you've been hanging out with to many of the fans who don't know how to carry themselves on LGW. In fact I don't have a boner for anyone. infact who the hell gives you the right to question what I say or do. if I remember correctly I have an opinion and expressed it. I said what I'd do if I was Holland.

Why not? Sammys scored some goals this season but the guy is consistently one of the players with most shots in the NHL. So the way I figure he's gonna get the luck of the bounce sometime and they'll go in. how often does he miss them? he takes shots gives up the puck and possession. As for Kopecky i've always liked him, the guy has had alot of bad luck with some fairly serious injuries in his career and given a run in the team I think he could be a solid fourth liner on the team.

Yes I do know that I left Sammy out. I put up the team that i'd put in if I was Holland.

Hossa - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Hudler - Zetterberg - Franzen Cleary - Filpulla - Helm Abdelkader - Draper - Kopecky Lidstrom - Rafalski Kronwall - Stuart Ericsson - Chelios Osgood Conklin this is the team i'd want if I was Holland. we've got a solid team thats just needing a little tweeking we don't need any trades. just use what we have........ although , I'd bring back Fedorov if I got a chance and put him on the second line with Zetterberg and Franzen.

Your looking at the Hasek of the past..... maybe about 8 years ago when he was on top of his game. we're talking of the soon to be 44 year old washed up retired Hasek who didn't exactly play anywhere near good last season. So comparing him to the guy who in my opinion should have had the Conn Smyth last season is crazy.

I heard that rumor in a couple of places the past few days but heard it rubbished also. As for Sundin the best thing for him is to head back to the Leafs and finish his career in toronto.

I'm reading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz right now it's a really good book.
