Once he's 100% healthy he'll be the Power Forward that the Wings have been looking for , for a long time.

Some day the Wings will have a really good goaltender in Jimmy Howard. but when you are, and want to stay a competitive team an experienced goalie is a must . Howard will get his chance when the time is right.
