I just wish Gary Bettman would look on some of these fan boards to see what hockey fans actually want , then maybe some of the major sports networks would start to give a damn about Ice Hockey.

I guess we got derailed from what the topic was all about. I think what the NHL needs is some more of the original six to become strong again. No disrespect to the likes of Nashville, Carolina or Phoenix but people love history and tradition. Some of the new teams don't provide the same exitement that teams like Detroit ,Montreal ,New York and Toronto gives.

There'a no way that Calder gets benched and Lang and Sammy keeps sucking as bad as they have. surely Ken Kal has got the wrong info, if not i'll be extreamly .

I've heard that rumor too. It would be cool to see Zidane and Beckham play in the MLS allstar game against Celtic. Headbutt's bad.

You guys have got to see Celtic's Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc in action, the guy's awsome . By far the best goalkeeper at last year's world cup.

I think it's that damn Playoff virus that everybody is talking about . It makes people panic at the first loss and create repetitive threads about how bad a team we've got.

I agree , this thread is nuts. I mean come on guy's , Lids is one of the best defencemen in the history of hockey, he makes one mistake and there's a whole thread about it! I'm starting to think the playoff's are starting to effect some people's sanity.

I think there's more to him being kicked off team Russia than this. I mean,If that's what he got kicked off for it seem's really petty from the GM.

I've heard alot of stories about Semin's attitude and anybody who walks away from playing in the greatest Ice Hockey in the world needs there head checked. But I was starting to think the kid was starting to settle down because he's had one hell of a sason.

I used to be a big Kimi fan when he drove for McLaren ,I was gutted for him a couple of season's ago when he should have won the world championship's. I would go as far to say that he is by far the fastest driver on the F1 grid. But now he drive's for Farrari he's the enemy. I used to follow all forms of motor racing too. But since Dale Earnhardt died , Alex Zanardi had his accident and Richard Burns died , I kinda lost intrest in the other top motorsports. I still follow The Le Mans 24 Hours race tho , I love trying to stay up for 24 hours straight to watch the whole race.

Everybody needs to calm down. We lost last night against a good / tough team on there home turf, I've been pretty impressed with the way the Wings have played so far in the playoff's this season, Some people need to stop picking hole's in our weakness's and start praising our strength's.

Damn! Filppula would have no fears centering those two big guy's, Plus I think it would be a pretty sweet line.

I know it doesn't help you, but when I read your post it reminded me of a time when I was working in an old folks home, and when the bell chimmed on the hour mark this old soldier guy stood up saluted and started singing God Save The Queen, I nearly wet myself because all the rest of the old people told him to shut up. and the old guy told them to F@*# off.
