I'm the same , I used to enjoy watching HNIC wth Don and Ron but they've pissed me off this season with all the crap they've been talking about the Wings. When you think about it maybe he's just upset that the only currently successful member of the original six isn't Canadian and is captained by a Euro.

I don't think i'll ever understand what he's got against Euro's , I mean sure there's alot of skilled players from europe but there's been a few tough guy's too. Do you guy's think he just use's this to stir up a bit of controversy or is old Don too stupid to do something like that ?

I can't believe that somebody that's supposed to know as much about hockey would try to compare Pavel Datsyuk to Steve Yzerman.Most of the NHL can't compare to stevie, the guy was an absolute legend.

Makov's addition to our blueline was an awsome piece of buisness by Kenny Holland, We've been missing that physical prescence since we lost Fischer. I really hope he stay's next season. P.S. You just gotta love the way super dan jumps over everybody to get to the Flames player in that picture. PMSL

Stupid is maybe too strong a word , but if we sit Bertuzzi then what was the point in trading for him? that's why I think this thread doesn't make sense.

This thread is stupid, Bert was injured for the first game . Against a tough team like the Flames he's got to play , he's one of our more physical player's and potentially one of our better player's .

I agree, we need a power forward now, with prospect's we just don't know how they will pan out, With Bertuzzi we already know what we're getting. So for me it's worth the risk.

I,m the same as you, NHL 93/ 94. can't remember if it was SNES or Saga. Exept I picked the Red Wings because I thought the name and the Winged Wheel was as cool as hell , Dumb reason but it works for me. -
