Soooo, I take it your not a Kenny Holland fan. Listen I think we're all pissed off about the Wings losing Bert . But IMO Kenny does a good job for the Wings. He's done well since the cap was introduced in getting down the salary and maintaining the Wings performance as being one of the top team's in the NHL and being a contender for the Cup every season ....have a little faith in the guy.

I agree with you , Kenny is a smart guy and wouldn't give up on Someone like Bertuzzi without a back up plan.

I still can't believe that Bert's gone . I know he was UFA but this I didn't expect. I hope I'm totally wrong here , but I think losing Bertuzzi could be a major setback for the Wings.

I'm actually starting to think that Roenick wouldn't be that bad to have in the Wings team , plus he could probably be had on the cheap and would mean we could probable still sign someone else . Cap'n , I's be officially on th' lets get Roenick bandwagon......aye!!!!!!

I read the topic title and totally disagreed with signing our Ufa's and Rfa's for next season , then I read your post and actually agree with you . Flip has all the tool's to be the Wings second line centre for year's to come , Quincey has shown that he has potential to be a very good Defenceman once he gains a little more experience . Draper IMO has still got it in him to play for a few more year's at a high performance level and 1.2 million would be a bargain if we got him at that price. Cleary for me is an absolute must for the Wings to re - sign , the guy has proven that he has learned to apply himself and is more than capable to a good player that will chip in with a good few goal's and can also be huge in the playoff's.

I'm doing ok, a little excited though . free agency time alway's does that to me.

I totally agree with everything you said , the kids got great potential to be a great player for us . look at what he's done on limited ice time.....then think about what he could do on first or second line minutes. some people on here are far too hard on Hudler because he's small and not a 6' 5" 220lbs power forward. He can still be a great player IMO.
