That's a very interesting idea, I might take it up. It's kind of a big commitment though. I'd like to watch the Capitals, so maybe I will try. Very original.

They definitly have a bright future, but potential dynasty? My definition of dynasty requires at minimum back to back cups, or 2 in 3 years... to have the potential you need at least one. They have the potential to win the cup, we have the potential of a dynasty. And they are getting ahead of themselves... "we won 8 strait games, we are unbeatable woooo" <-- that line of thinking is naive. The Wings had a 7, 8, and 9 game winnning streaks last year and I don't remember any of us calling the Wings a "potential dynasty". This is probably because we have been on top of the league for the better part of 17 years and we know that regular season sucess does not equal playoff sucess. Exhibit A In 95' The DRW won 62 games... and were swept in the finals. Exhibit B In 06' The DRW won 58 games... and lost in the first round. :puke: The point is you have to lose before you win. But I don't mind if the Hawks fans over excite themselves and get there heart broken, boys will be boys.

Scoring is up this year, so naturally the average GA/G will go up to. That does not excuse the Wings lack of solid defense. The Wings will solidify there defense, then even the biggest SJ homer will fail to call the Sharks a better team!

When Datsyuk signed his contract the cap was much lower, therefore a smaller percent of the Wings salary. If he were to have signed that contract today it would be somewhere between 7-7.5, which is the amount I believe Z will sign for.

Coming off a big win I think the Wings will crush the Kings 4-1... Shots are 50-25.

Zetterberg with a 5 goal game. You may have heard it here first, but then again, maybe you will forget about it until Z actually does score 5 goals tonight, then you will come crawling back to me.

I don't like how the Wings are losing to good teams. (if that makes sense) Last year we played poorly against weaker teams, and really well against playoff teams. Last year SJ was our *itch. I hope the Wings win the next few against SJ to shut them up. It is for this reason I believe our record is misleading. (that and the GF/GA)

I think the Wings third jersey will be the Winter Classic one.
