You will all sucumb to Lidstrom. I know it. You know it. I thought he played like his godly self tonight. (he couldn't anticipate Conklin letting in a wrister from the point) He was solid and he made some sweet plays.

Agreed. He will be a great QB on the PP one day. He already has good offensive talant, and can hit with the best of them. And someone should of told Souray you can't shoot through walls. (Kronwalls )

I completely agree with you. That's why I used the pharses "lighten up" and "calm down" in my post. perhaps I worded it wrong but I was refering to people on both sides of whatever were doing right now.

Lighten up man. There is nothing wrong with optimism. Some of you are overly negative, and I think quite a few of us need to calm down.

There is something seriously wrong with our defense. Our offense was beautiful. But I remember having the lowest GA, killing 5 on 3s left and right, and having the most feared D in the leauge. But 7 goals against? Really? Babcock needs to do something.

Wooot!!1! teh Vings will fly dat roflcopter 2 victory 2 nite! We are teh 1337sauce. But to be not so serious... As long as the Wings play solid/tight defense i'll be happy. After this game we have a nice 5 day break to tune up that D. I'll be happy if we win 2-1.

It will help our defense if we can take fewer penalties. We also need to posess the puck more, then the other team will take more penalties.

I really hope your right, but I can't excuse the fact that we did win 54 games last year, and we were #1 in GA. I can't calm down until the defense does.
