I joined a facebook group "the Red Wings have made the playoffs every year of my life". Not sure how that is relevant to this thread, but I like my post none the less. I'm hoping the Wings continue their playoff streak to 21... so I can go to the bar do some shots for the Wings. (not saying I won't be able to either way, but it would still be cooler with the streak and all)

Put Kovalchuk on Datsyuks wing and you won't have to worry about any defensive short comings Kovalchuk may have when comparing him to Hossa. Plus that's a solid second line to Z and MULE. hehehe.

Honestly, San Jose. Who else remaining deserves it more? Just not Chicago or Pittsburgh... please not them.

It's going to require a lot of LUCK. Luck with injuries, refs, and breaks. Win or lose, I will be happy if the Red Wings give a full effort every game. LETS GO RED WINGS!

Even though we have not truly lost yet, I agree with the tone of this thread. Considering all the hockey these guys have played in the last three years this season cannot be considered a complete failure. Of course it's not a success, but come on guys. Lets go Red Wings! 24/7.

Often times moves a GM makes won't have a big impact for a few years. Its going to be a "who made the best trades/signing" award, and a GM does a lot more than that. In my opinion they should only give out this award every three or five years.

Of course we should want Pheonix. They have no playoff experience and it would be like 7 home games. And we did not beat Vancouver on the way to the 2008 finals. (not important just fyi) -

I hope that's not an expectation. (as it might of been in previous years) Unfortunatly this season is not a cup or bust season. I hope we get Phoenix, but bring whoever on. I want to beat all the powerhouses!

In my opinion if the 2010 Howard started for us in 2008 he would have put up better numbers. Not s shot at Ozzy at all. My two cents. -
