I remember the Red Wings scoring 2 goals in the last 2 games of their season. The loss to Pittsburgh was not Stuarts fault. Game 7 means just as much as games 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

This is how I see the order. (once Draper retires) Z as captain, Dats and Kronwall with A's.

I like keeping Zman and Pavs together. That way we have the best shutdown line in the league and one of the best offensive lines in the league. Howard, those blues aint got s***. Shut em up.

I think Babs just needs to put Z and Pavs back together. They're bound to create offense, and I hate getting shut out like this. Yeah I know, define "one line team".

This organization knows how to develop players. I do not believe we will see him next year, or the year after that. He has a bright future, let's not dim it by bringing him in too early.

Quick question, what happend the year we brought in Rafalski? He plays next to Lidstrom, and is not the reason for our defensive problems the last two years. Team defense + goaltending both need to improve. Having Kronwall and Lilja out does not help either.

I would say the Wings are sort of back. Who would of thought this is where we would be after losing Hossa, Hudler, Samuelsson, Conklin, Franzen, Filppula, Williams, and everyone else I forgot? When Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Lidstrom play like they can, the Wings should have very few worries. I however would like to point out the play of Kronwall. Kronwall has been the s***. Seven points in the last three games.

I read somewhere that it is much harder to get a secondary assist in the KHL compared to the NHL. So Hudler may be doing better than some of you percieve. I'm going to try to find out where I read that. But i'm pretty sure in some of the European leagues and the KHL you abolutely have to be involved in the scoring play to get any assists.

Great game by Howard, and a damn good effort by the Red Wings. You can't win them all guys. I hope the Red Wings play the next game like this one. To all of you saying the Wings won't make the playoffs... this is not football, we play 82 games for a reason. If you're not satisfied with the effort the Red Wings gave, then stop watching.

Ah! *looks for signs of the apocalypse* Babcock is one of the best coach's in the league, he's been to the finals multiple times with multiple teams. Not sure how that is directly relevent, but it's fun to say.

Lidstrom gets what he asks for. End of story. If he's willing to sign for 4 million... awesome! But I see him getting between 5 and 6 million.
