In my opinion the worse case scenario for this month is a .500 record. I'm guessing our winning percentage will be roughly .600 for December, as opposed to the .727 we've been enjoying so far. Lets go Red Wings! edit: I don't believe in points percentage, no matter how practical it is lol. I used winning percentage in my post.

Hey now, Lilja is a solid defensive defensemen. He can kill penalties, block shots, and hit. He has much more value then Brett Lebda (in my eyes). I think he will be able to find work in the NHL. Idk who with though... lets not be so quick to throw him under the bus. -
Just to clarify Huet will NOT be with the Hawks. They had to downgrade the goalies even without Huets cap hit. Corey Crawford will back up Turco. (I'm pretty sure) [edit] it could be Toivonen as back up. I think we are now the legitimate favorites to win the Central.

Rafalski Considered "top six signings since the 2005-06 season"

Signing a number 2 defensemen is a very significant move that could have very well put us over the edge that year! The team did not win is spite of Rafalski in 2008, he was one of the back bones to the puck possession style the Wings had that year. Is he still now? Idk. -
I would love for him to sign, I have two reasons. 1, it would be a good depth signing, and 2, I would enjoy seeing how the Dallas fans react when the Wings and Stars meet.

The year we signed Raffy we won the Stanley Cup. It is what it is, you do that signing over and over. -
Anybody notice that Kesler was only a +1 while scoring 75 points and playing in front of Luongo? You'd think a Selke nominee that scored 75 points on a very good Vancouver team would have a pretty respectable +/-.

The lines are going to be switched around left and right all season i'm sure. Probably the same way in the playoffs. I would like to see Z and Pavs together and give the second line to Flip and Mule. Lets go Red Wings!

I would love to give Bert a 2 year deal valued at 2.4 million dollars. Personally I think 1.2 million is a bargain for a player like him. (not a huge bargain, but a bargain) [edit] BTW, someone is going to get injured at some point next year, Bert can easily fill that top six spot.
