Morozov has already signed an extension with AK Bars: http://www.rushockey.com/events.php?i=sl&a...ings&id=503 There has been uncertainty (especially after he signed a 3 year contract extension with Ak Bars) whether Morozov is going to play in the NHL next season as he has previously insisted he would do.

Don't be worried so much, guys. I too look at the salaries, the contracts and our free agents and get scared, but so was I before previous two seasons.. Holland knows how to get some good deals done and - if need to be - find players like Samuelsson and Cleary - coming in cheap and finding their place in Red Wings jersey Have some faith in Holland

There were reports that BOTH Calder and Samuelsson have broken hands (I remember reading an article mentioning it, no link though).. Maybe Samuelsson has recovered (or simply is on dope ) and Calder hasn't yet?

Damn, I forgot about that check on Maltby into the bench when adding my sig.. Really looks funny now Well, let's just think of it as of some kind of support to Maltby ("Kirk, you can do it, too, just play hard and hit often in game 3 )

That's the problem with the Wings - to spread that one period good effort to all three periods.. Red Wings often forget that they have to play all 60 minutes in a hockey game.. And I really hate the fact Ducks outshot and - especially that - outhit us

So, if it's that plain and simple, tell me how do you win a faceoff in your defensive zone? Do you have a certain recipe to win it in crucial moments like the end of 3rd period? Because as far as I know hockey and NHL, you usually win 1 out of 2 faceoffs, so maybe that was "the lost one"? It's not that easy winning faceoffs with the game on the line, man.. Anyway, Hasek got pushed into the net by Niedermayer or whoever it was from the Ducks..

I don't get you guys. Schneider probably won't get anything but payrise as he's scored 50+ points for the second consecutive year and it did only cost 3,6 million bucks. Look at Kubina, Kaberle, Jovanovski or McCabe and their salary (however, I don't think they're worth it). It'll be hard to sign Schneider even at his present salary. And no way Smyth signs here as he's only a more skilled Holmstrom and we have to lock up Zetterberg in two years' time.

Calder "has to be" injured? Calder IS injured - his hand is broken, that's way he plays so little. But Kopecky's been out for months now and he wouldn't get more ice time either, so I don't think a change like that would affect our play anyway
