You know it isn't necessary to start a new topic every time you find a new you tube video... You could post it in, say, the thread you have going already.

Battle for Roster spots getting tighter...
omnipotent_hudler replied to norrisnick's topic in General
We're talking about the 13th forward slot. It won't fing matter if there's an enforcer there or not. So Downey is the 13th forward? Great! Now every time someone runs our players we can send him out.... oh wait, that's right, hes not dressed. I see absolutely no place for an enforcer who cannot do something else(defensive forward, pk specialist, crash the net scorer) in the regular lineup. -
No Matter What, Grigorenko Staying Stateside…I Think

If Grigs wants to go to the AHL to get used to North American hockey i'll gain a huge amount of respect from him. Right now, though, there are two players that I would say that 13th forward slot should go to before it goes to Grigorenko. -
If you had that injury you'd be writhing on the ground and crying like a little girl... Your posts are pretty representative of that attitude already, though.

The taxi cab goalie is awesome. "Learn how to drive!" "Learn how to make a kick save!"
-
Downey is growing on me. If I could just be a little more confident that he wouldn't get a penalty every game(his stats say he will) I wouldn't mind having him. Grigs has great hands but still looks slow out there.
-
hahahah Ericsson, not a good time to make that kind of mistake. Maybe next year

Chris Chelios: Power play specialist

Grigs does look pretty slow out there. Emmerton is looking good so far. Sopel looks pretty good but then again hes getting a ton of ice time to show off at the moment.

I just need to say, those jersey's are sexy

this seems like its just a radio broadcast with some adds rotating. its the "Minnesota Wild Radio Network"

Both great videos... the Lidstrom one only serves to increase my dread about his retirement in the next 5 or so years, though

Tsn's Projected Point Production for 07/08

If Filp actually gets a chance to play he will have many more points. Filp deserves to be playing on the second line at the very least... I am going to be pissed if he is regulated to 3rd and 4th line again all year. This kid has shown incredible potential and I would argue has more talent that Hudler does by far. And instead i'm hearing that Drapes is being moved to second line wing and Filp is going to play 3rd line center? so yeah.. kinda pointless rant but whatever -
He and his agent are basically saying " The reason I suck is because of my line mates". I'm sorry, but that is and attitude problem when you have never played in the worlds top league and have yet to prove anything. Grigs can go back to Russia for all I care at this point, we have plenty of motivated young prospects who understand that they have to actually work to make it on to this team.

Franzen-Zetterberg-Holmstrom("swedish connection) Datsyuk-Filp-Samuelson(dats himself has said he prefers wing) Cleary-Draper-Maltby(one of the best shutdown lines in the league, imo) Drake-Kopecky-Hudler Grigorenko(needs to prove himself before he makes it into the lineup) Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Lebda Chelios-Lilja Quincy Our defense is fine and unless we get Sopel at a very low price I want the money saved. Hasek Osgood

The Schneider hate is ridiculous... Folks, he freaking LIVES there. Throw out your bs arguments about "oh its all about the money". He would have gotten a similar amount to play here. If I was him I would have done exactly the same thing, and played for a team close to where I lived(oh and where the winters aren't god awful).

I too seem to have somehow missed this thread.. I have a stack of books waiting to be read but in the last couple of months I managed to complete Breakfast of Champions, Justinian's Flea, Guns, Germs, and Steel and All Quiet on the Western Front. Breakfast of Champions is Vonnegut at his best although I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Slaughter House 5. I would highly recommend Guns, Germs, and Steel to anyone who hasn't read it yet... It's really a fascinating explanation of 100,000 years of human history in just 500 pages. I've finally decided to tackle Plato's Republic(i've been avoiding it for years) and am currently slogging through it... Then hopefully on to something a bit more light. Edit: I almost forgot, if you haven't read All quiet on the Western Front yet, pick it up... it's a really short but moving read.

I think if he hadn't been injured this year then we would very likely be talking about defending our recent cup championship this year. He's the future leader of our defensive corps., if he can stay healthy he'll be dominant. This year will be a big testing ground for him, if he gets injured again I think people will start to get quite disillusioned with him, as they should... We can't have a top d-man who just gets injured every season.
-
Fedorov isn't coming back. He left for less money, and not on good terms... I highly doubt he will want to play here again. Besides, I don't want to give up anymore young talent for players near the end of their contract that we may be unable to keep.
-
If he's no good then he's no good, this team has plenty of prospects who can step it up in a few years. Maybe he can play the 4th line and get himself ready. There's really no excuse for being out of shape as a professional sports player.
-
I'm just here to say that Hudler is going to compete for the scoring championship this year. He'll also win the Selke, and when Babcock is forced to play him at defense midway through the season due to injury, he will perform so well that he will win the Norris as well. I'm not being sarcastic at all. seriously

What despair these three words instill In any case, the Wings are too strong at D for Kindl to have a chance at making the team this year. I personally doubt that the Wings will sign Sopel too, unless he signs for a very low price, because we are basically set at D with what we have now.

Like I said, most people either don't like to think about that, believe that the meat they are buying comes from "humane" sources, or honestly don't know about the conditions you have described. Thus it is still perfectly natural and expected for them to get pissed over inhumane treatment of dogs. Of course then there are those who simply don't care what conditions the animals that they eat are kept in but still are pissed over what Vick has done because dogs are "cute" or "friendly" or something... That argument doesn't make a whole lot of sense(and I don't think there are that many that use it).

oh god what have you done
