Marian Hossa will test free agent market

yeah but I think Hossa is serious about playing for a contender, so that kinda rules out the Bruins oh snap -
Marian Hossa will test free agent market

honestly I think it's just that he knows that his stock is about as high as it's ever going to get right now. He can get a long term, guaranteed big money contract and be set for the next 7-8 years regardless of performance. Like I said before I think it's going to be a 6-7 years at 8-8.5 mil a year and it will be MTL, SJ, or DAL -

when i said blood and sweat I meant literally you realize that right

Malkin will not leave Pittsburgh, all this talk is really outrageous as he and his agent have said point blank that he wants to re-sign there Hossa is also not going to be a Red Wing , Detroit cannot really do better than the deal Pitt offered him(and yes length is a big deal for Hossa, it's guaranteed money regardless of performance. He's probably looking for something like 6-7 years at 8 mil/per year I'd guess Habs Dallas SJ

Russian League poised to offer Malkin $12.5 mill/yr
omnipotent_hudler replied to sixer's topic in General
yes you can clearly tell that by those pictures -
so we didn't win a cup in 1998 eh
-
yeah that would have been an incredibly classless move by Hossa to say something like that with the blood and sweat of defeat still on him and his teammates. the rest all seems pretty common sense though
-
yes all 10 of them are fuming right now Colorado or Minnesota

thn is not happy once again http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/1670...le-changes.html Honestly I think the powerplay rule is stupid. A good PK team stops the PP by making it tough to gain access to the zone. This is more of the " High scoring games are exciting!!!!" BS that I really cannot stand.

chicago is probably going to massively overpay him

the year of " the year of the" posts?
-
quincey is on the way out anyways tbh. Well, either him or Meech
-
when malkin gets tired of winning big bucks in pitt he can come win a cup in detroit that is all
-
let hossa walk and aggressively develop young d/ go after elite FA d it would be about as popular as Holland sitting on cap money has been and look where that got us?
-
I think the point is that if the cap eventually hits a ceiling(and even if it doesn't for not-so-rich teams), it is far better to devote your cap to defense than offense. Pitt has some defensive prospects developing nicely, but the problem is that if they are as good as they think they will be they will demand top dollar in a league where good D are a luxury. They can't hope to sign top d-man if they have their cap eaten up by Crosby 8.7/yr; Malkin 8/yr, and Hossa 6.5-7/yr. And that isn't really counting Fleury who is going to demand top dollar in a couple of years.

the good ones always go first god damnit Tucker Carlson/Lou Dobbs etc etc etc are still around and this guy goes down f*** it all

Penguins file for arbitration w/ Fleury

to be fair Dats honestly impressed more during the regular season defensively Z was a monster in the playoffs, but also in a lot of those 5-3's Babcock put out Z-Lids-Kronner, a smart move but I'm not at all certain that Datsyuk couldn't of done just as well. If voting was done after the playoffs there's no question that Z would have won it. As it is he finished 3rd in voting, probably because of the time he spent injured as well.
