I agree that Hockeytown is a good alternative, but to those who asked why I would not be going is because I am not driving an hour and a half north not to be at the Joe. I wanted to go because of the environment with the horns and the crowd and sitting in the Joe seats and watching it on the jumbotron. That's the reason, I'm not being whiny or anything, I just wanted to see it at the joe. But my tv will do.

Eugh, I had the same problem living in BG this year. It was horrible. I got too lucky the first round was on FSOhio or I wouldn't have been able to see it at all. So frustrating. Now that I'm back in Toledo I don't have Time Warner and I don't have any answers for you, but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

I want to go SO BAD! I'm going to try really hard to make it.

I actually don't, but my boyfriend does. He's a supervisor at UPS and he works starting at 9:30 so he can't see the end of the game. I text him updates everything ANYTHING happens (a good hit, goal, penalty kill, whatever) and then he watches all the coverage afterward on nhl.com and any other website. Of course youtube for the big hits and whatnot.

hahaha I heard that too! And I heard them singing Sweet Caroline and Don't Stop Believin'. Fantastic. It made me sing along at home with my friends! Seriously, it sounded amazing. I wish I could have been there!

I'm so ridiculous about superstitions. I wear certains shirts under my jersey, have certain drinks (smirinoff please) and even sit in certain seats. I also can't have my laptop open EVER during the game. Last year I managed during intermissions but this year I realized I couldn't after the second round. Nope. Every time I opened it during an intermission we lost to stupid Anaheim. Yeah.
