I'm going to fully agree with this. I go to BGSU right now and there is nothing more annoying than an Ohio State fan, especially when we play them in the CCHA. But that's another matter. They'll scream things at you no matter what. I have a friend that lives in Columbus and he roots for BG. They ask him if he likes Ohio State or Michigan. He says BG. Then they found out he was born in Ann Arbor and beat him up anyway. I have a strong dislike for their fans. So please focus on Columbus and not the entire state of Ohio, because from what I can see living here my entire 21 years the rest of the state would like Columbus to just be its own state and not be associated with the rest of us. Especially since there are so many Wings fans in Ohio and so many hockey fans in general.

Just remember there are a LOT of Wings fans in Ohio and a lot of Jackets fans that don't live in Ohio. And hockey will never be as big here as it is in Michigan but it is big, especially with some of our college hockey (Miami making it to the NCAA championship game) and our high school hockey. I think it's great that Ohio has an NHL team, just please don't peg all of Ohio on the stupidity of Columbus. If it was up to most of the rest of Ohio they would be their own little state haha. In response to the fight, I'm going to go rewatch that since I taped the last 5 minutes of the game. Sounds interesting!

I thought the same thing, but oh well. It was just awkward for me at first because last year I was like, okay instead of it being the Penguins even though the Ducks won the Cup, it'll be the Wings once we win! And then we won. And now it's the Pens...again. Oh well though. So is life. It was an exciting moment.

55fan I know what you mean. I'm working at a desk right now and this and nhl.com is all I have for this game...oh, and text messages because I'm horribly jealous of my best friend who is actually at the game right now bein' a jerk without me haha. so try to keep me posted!

Yeah, I'm going to say Dallas. When I checked up on them partway through the season and saw them near the bottom I was pretty shocked. I thought Buffalo should have done something as well, they have a pretty talented team. that being said, congrats to the teams that were said to suck this season that made it...and most of all, congrats to the Central! The entire division was beastly this season and now the excuse of the Wings beating up on their conference no longer applies because they were all good!
