Yes, he did. It was a beautiful save about a foot in front of the goal. Lidstrom shot it to Malts (who's playing very well) and Malts shot it the length of the ice. Best play of the game by anybody thus far.

Was it Rafalski who gave the puck away? I couldn't tell who, and even on the replays it wasn't clear.

The bottom line has to be that if Babcock continues to mostly play Howard and throws Ozzie in now and then, it is simply not good for the long-term results for the Detroit Red Wings this season. As much as I love and appreciate Babcock, there's no other way around this argument.

This is funny stuff. You have a great attitude. In fact, would you consider coming on this board more often? I would personally put about ten mewly-puke "Wings'" fans on ignore if you did. You know, the ones that do nuthin' but ***** and moan when our team's hurting? Please consider it.

I have mixed feelings about this. The Ducks are right up there with the Blues as cheapshot artists, and I wouldn't put it past at least three of them to specifically go after Zetts if he plays. Yeah, I know he has to be in there against them soon but I want to see him totally healed before they throw him to the goons.

I want to think it's way too early to talk about this. We as Wings' fans have no idea what's going to happen during the time that all our players come back healthy. Who goes? Who stays? Is the chemistry gonna happen for the lines (I say yes)? And who do the other teams play during the next three months? What's their injury situation gonna be like? What coaches are gonna be fired? What's gonna be the price of pucks? Are composite sticks gonna lose their market share because of iffy quality? Will Barret Jackman still be taking cheapshots after the whistle? Will the Tootoo whistlers collectively choke on 'em? Will Bettman continue to work on his bobblehead behavior? See where I'm going with this? Puhleeese...!
