Yo, fans - There's definitely some chemistry going on down on the ice and it is beautiful to behold. It's kind of a miracle, really. What, about half the players out there are rookies or GR call-ups, and you can actually see them beginning to rely on each other and use each other to move up and down the ice. I'm very happy for them. I'm very happy for you and me!

This is all good stuff and I especially agree with the bolded statement. I think the fact that they've been so good in the past has caught up with them a bit. Ah, the problems that result from quality play, eh? And I want to think and hope that it's gonna pick up when our regulars start coming back.

Your comments absolutely blow me away. YOU are the one who implied that anyone who supports Ozzie and would like to see him get more playing time (The whole argument, I believe?) is an "Ozzie-lover". With the call on Bertuzzi, the fact they took both Homer and Foote off, and the call on Flip - there is actually no hope for the refs in this whole game of hockey. No recourse. Nobody to complain to. It is beyond sickening.

The fact that you bolded "brutal" must mean you believe he really truly sucks as a goalie. Which pretty much makes your whole argument unbelievable to say the least because he does not. What you're really saying is that you just don't like him. CHECK HIS STATS. CHECK HIS RECORD. OR JUST CHECK OUTSIDER'S FACTS ON GAMES PLAYED THIS YEAR. OR COMPARE HOWARD'S AND OSGOOD'S RECORDS THIS YEAR. And I'm not really yelling. I just want you to actually see this and MOVE ON. Ya think? :deal:

I'd settle for him just getting more starts. If Babcock thinks it's motivational to play Howard in the easier games and throw Oz in now and then for the more difficult ones, I'd say that in the long run that will not cut it.

I'm sure this thread was started partially for venting, but I find this post funnier than hell. And some of the others weren't bad either for uncontrollable giggles. Thenk yew.

Agreed on all points. Can't stand him. And he always looks and acts crazed, but I will give a nod in his general direction for the goal.

Yeah, it's much easier to think that way. Actually, it takes no thinking at all. Just a knee-jerk reaction. Kinda like saying "Detroit sucks", huh. I do so hope the Wings come back strong and beat the s*** out of teams like Chicago. Of course the Hawks' fans will probably still bleat their little prayer to the hockey gods, 'cause mainly they don't know any better.
