Nice re-focusing there. Your whole argument was that both of them are playing with no confidence. You brought up Datsyuk's name in your no-confidence post. I say you're wrong because chances are he would have the same kind of mindset Lidstrom has. I.E., Two Euros who don't show a whole lot of emotion. Only difference is he's younger and hasn't played as long. But to assume he (or Lidstrom) is playing with no confidence is ludicrous. The other logical choice is he is also injured.

Your statement can be based on nothing but your opinion. And my opinion is there is NO way that Lidstrom would lack confidence in his abilities, especially when he's well. And since he isn't playing well the logical choice is that he is playing injured. In fact it ticks me off that you would think so little of him. And Datsyuk for that matter. I still have faith in both of them. They have both carried our team in the past at times and I want to think they can heal enough to do it again.

I had NO idea there was such a huge delay between the stream and the live feed. I read about the goal like five minutes before I saw it happen. sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit. They still played consistently better than they have for some time now. And when the rest of the guys get back, we gonna be mean and nasty.

I heard him say that too and I guessed that's what you were referring to. I believe I responded by glaring at my computer screen and growling something like, "Shut the F up for once, you D.H." I can't argue the fact that it's part of the game. I know it is. But I don't have to like it. And honestly, sometimes my reactions to it scare me. (There's gotta be better ways for me to vent!) The goals and the play toward getting the goals should be and is the most important part of the game. Like I've said before, I fell back in love with the Wings when the Russian Five were playing. 'Nuff said. However, between you and me, I hope somebody beats the s*** out of Boll and Torres. And like Boll, who would want to be known mainly as a goon and/or a thug? Doesn't say crap about his "game".
