OK, it's the end of the second and I for one do not plan to respond to the idiot Duckie fans who obviously get their jollies from coming here. Weird thing is, you'd think they'be thrilled the way the game is being called by the refs. -

You guys hear Keith Jones? Says the two calls on Getzlaf were bogus. Ticky-tacky. I had just sent an email to Colin Campbell (yeah I know - lotsa good that's gonna do...) yelling at him, 'WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO TO GET A CALL? DIVE?" Second call worked wonders! If the refs aren't gonna call their bulls***, then the Wings need to draw attention to whatever they can. -

Because of the Ducks' unrepentant and unpenalized goonery- Because we're playing the Big Bad Bullies of the West- Because of selective calls by the refs- And in spite of the selective calls from Bettman and Campbell the hockey gods have got to be with us on this one. Because in a real hockey game, ultimately NONE of the above should count for s***. And because the Wings play the best REAL hockey in the league and their memories will not fail them on this, they'll win. -

I'm still wondering if that was deliberate. Wouldn't put it past the "kings" of sleaze. -
Somebody else said it here pretty well. That yeah, he's a star, but there are others who should be doing a whole lot better too. Couldn't agree more. He's already trying too hard, I think - so I will not get on his butt. It's the least I can do as a fan.

Yeupp to the first part. Nope to the second part. Because Perry will run like the cheapshot coward he is. Which reminds me - one of the comments Keith Jones said when dribbling on his bib about the mighty cheapshotting of the Ducks...that "Perry couldn't find Ericsson, so he went after Rafalski". Therein lies all the logic and credibility that is Versus.
