If you're outside the Michigan market and have Directv, the game IS on 604.

That better not be true. The way I heard the lead idiot say it, he said, "Don't worry, Ducks and Wings fans - you will see that game in entirety." It's on on our small tv. Our big TV went out and is picking up the f'ckn signal again. And the a-holes score....

OH MY GAWD. The Versus boyz didn't know they were on Channel 604 and were yelling for the Wings' guys to see if they could hear them. They were actually talking amongst themselves. And now the Directv pic on 604 (Versus 2nd channel) just went out. EDIT: Now they say on 603 that we will see the game in its entirety. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeahhhh....

If you have Directv, Versus also lists the Wings/Ducks game on 604. And guess what. A picture just came on that channel with the Hawks/Canucks game. WITH ANY LUCK AT ALL and if they want to save their asses, they WILL start showing our game at 9:40 CDT.

Do you believe whatever they do to Holmstrom will really be anything new? Why do you make it sound like this would be a novel idea for them? The NHL supposedly said before this season (I believe - as opposed to before the playoffs) that they were going to crack down on strategic violence/fighting. In the Ducks' case, they haven't come close. It borders on criminal what they get away with with just after-the-whistle-crap. They have done it all season long. And I honestly don't think the NHL will follow through until someone is seriously injured. But meanwhile, if the Ducks get really down and dirty tonight - even moreso than usual - the only shock I'll experience is if the refs actually do something about it.
