I LOVE reading stuff like this especially when a lot of detail is given. That makes it much easier to imagine being there. I'm very happy for you!! That had to be an unbelievable experience.

Actually, me either. They probably also know what they're talking about when they say that audience numbers go down dramatically as the game wears on. It would sure make it more exciting!

All I meant was that they all had to be exhausted by that time. I still think the timing was such that under those circumstances, our guys showed the lack of focus first.

That makes about five of us, at my last count....

If we start out with the premise that as Wings' fans we are spoiled rotten; then hopefully move on to the fact that Ozzie (and everybody else on the team except Chelios) had just played FIVE full periods of hockey; and surmise that any goal under those circumstances could be considered a fluke goal, I think we need to give it a rest. They played their asses off. All of them. If we feel "bad", how do you think they feel, even discounting the physical aftermath of such a game? Time for a reality check, methinks. Negative nit-picking is more than futile. It's draining. TIME TO MOVE ON and hope for the best for our beloved team.

There aren't words to describe Vladdy's courage when he played, and what he's displaying now. He obviously refuses to give up and not fight. And that goes for his wife Irina (sp?) and how she has supported him since that hideous tragedy happened. I'm grateful that espn showed this, and to you Reds, for putting it on here. Thanks.

Has there ever been a time with Ozzie on the ice and there was a goal against, that you didn't think "he had to get that one"? I cannot recall any time - no matter what was happening on the ice and how much our guys were screwing up, we could always count on you to come tell us once again that Ozzie should have had that one. I cannot put into words how sick I am of hearing that from you. So instead of screaming and swearing, I'll just say, "Have a nice day".

Well, I got home just in time to watch the A-holes win it in the top of the 3rd OT. I even wore my Wings' tee under my choir robe for our concert and it didn't help.... But I would love these two line combinations. And meanwhile, we can hope that it is indeed a fact that the Duckies play worse at home.
