And what I'm hoping will happen when the Ducks indeed "thug it up" (i.e., strategic fighting/goonery), they get their asses called on it at least the majority of times it happens. Difference between the Wings and the Sharks is that to this point (which is really all ANY of us have to go on right now?) the Wings pretty much know how to handle power plays and will capitalize on the Ducks' goonery and shove it right back in their faces with goals - which is the bottom line. So much of what happens in this series is going to be dependent on how the refs call your team's uh...antics. So that is why it's all up in the air and you can spew this board with promises of what the Ducks are gonna do, but it doesn't mean jack till the games are played.

Just read this after I posted mine and I totally agree on all counts. They have a whole lot of good fans too, just like we do...along with the idiots/trolls on both sides.

I suppose there's got to be at least one poster who disagrees, but I disagree. If I were a Sharks' fan, I would think I was being kicked after I was already down about as far as I could be. I'm never in favor of this kind of thing unless you can aim it specifically at the real idiots/flamers/trolls.

And this was because of our depth. That has to be an advantage against the Ducks and our boyz have to push that for all it's worth.

Can't really compare the Malkin/Crosby line because Malkin played for s*** in that series. Some said he was ill; some said he just didn't come to play, put the point is he was not a factor on that line.

All this/these look like valid arguments from both of you. But meanwhile, how much scoring have we gotten from our second and third lines? Probably more than their second and third lines can deal with. Thank heavens it's not just a one-line game.
