The three guys I definitely wanted to see score tonight were Hossa, Cleary and Malts. Cleary needed that sooo badly. I'm thrilled for him! And Homer was due too. God love 'em all! Yeeehaaaaaaaa!

Are you saying here that if the refs don't break it up, they will or they won't keep fighting? Not sure what you mean. I couldn't agree more on penalizing every single instance of after-the-whistle scrums and not only because it would definitely speed up the game. It drives me absolutely nuts that hotshot chickens***s decide to wait till after the whistle to get in their cheap shots. And almost always, they get away with it. That to me is the outrageous part because they are the cowards. They are the ones who can be pretty sure they can pound away without getting called for it and often not getting it back in their faces. Meanwhile, chances are very strong that the Blues are going to lose their series because they are undisciplined and out of control, calls or no calls. The Ducks should be losing their series if the Sharks had a clue about scoring on power plays. The Hawks better figure out how to maintain control. Their age and lack of discipline could come back and bite them in the butt. And if the refs do the job they're paid to do, the Wings - those wimps of the NHL - will win it all. Period.

Pierre McGuire was just saying they ought to get Iginla off the ice before he gets hurt. Didn't watch a whole lot of this game except the tail-end of the fight. But I gotta tell you my first thought when I heard Iginla's name was how he was pounding Schneider coming up the ice in (I believe) a playoff game, plus other s*** that he was not called on in that series. NO call. NO suspension. If he's getting some of it back that's just fine and dandy with me.

As long as the faceoff percentages are competitive, I don't see Draper coming back in anytime soon.

As a fan, I would hate to have to be going through what you're going through. I think we all - OK, most of us here - figured the Sharks would win this battle with the Ducks. In fact because of the iffy, inconsistent reffing I was hoping they would take the Ducks and still am. At least most of your guys fight fair. I know as a fan of a good team it's a crappy feeling to watch them not do so well. I honestly feel for ya. And meanwhile as a fan of the Wings, I'm hoping we beat the Jax real soon. The Wings are gonna need some time to rest up and (hopefully not!) figure out how to beat Hiller and/or Luongo.

Ecccshuuualllly, come to think of it, probably not with the Blooze. It does seem to be a sacred thing to them. Yesssirree... a way of life and a belief system that's probably gonna knock their asses right out of the series reeeal soon!
