Of course you're right on all counts. Only thing I'd change is that the Wings score 15,involving five hat tricks from Zetts, Dats, Hossa, Lids and Sammy. Arby's goes bankrupt after having to buy all that beef on the hoof and paying for all the lawsuits that the riots cause. National Guard's called up but all the publicity brings millions to Deetroit and the auto manufacturers have time to finally convert to electric cars and the slump is finally over. OK, so it'll take a year but we can thank the Wings for all of the above. Losing the Cup because of all the coverage and lack of sleep turns out to be more than worth it. :flash:

May I suggest one more time that all of this is not about you? It's about our team, the Wings? That team that damn it, will just go ahead anyway and make decisions without us. So if you want to stay all pissy I sure hope it works for you. Sorry, but somebody had to break the news to you. Again.

\Nice post and I agree with everything you've said, including some stuff I hadn't thought about. I too have a good feeling about their win today. I want to think they understand that there's no switch to turn on come playoff time. From here on (and even before this game) they will be playing desperate teams. It was a GREAT win today and I'm proud of all of 'em for laying it on the line. Even Sammy.

I'm really looking forward to the end of these posts and end of game commentary to see how soon you praise Ozzie for his stops on the FOUR turnovers in our zone. Yesssssirreeee, I can hardly frickin' wait.

This kind of bulls*** fascinates me, knowing now how the game turned out. As I type this, about two hours after the game, all I know is that in about a 3-minute period, the Wings turned the puck over FOUR times in the 3rd period. OZZIE STOPPED THE THREE THAT CAME AT THE NET. HE SAVED THEIR ASSES. Your dump and chase attitude along with all the other negative Nellies on this board is, well, beyond belief. And how do you explain the four other Wings in front of the net on that one, with not one of them doing anything but making the situation worse? ....jeeeeeeeezzzzzussssssssssssssssss.....

I'm responding like two hours after the game, but what seemed really weird to me was on some of the really powerful shots from the Wings, the camera seemed to shake - like the building was shaking. Kinda like watching a Denver Broncos' game from their old stadium.

Jason Williams scored to tie it up 4-4 with Nashville, with 1:48 to play. Dallas beat St. Louis in OT. I like it!
