I shouldn't have used the word "any" fans. The ones who are Oz-obsessed, I won't be reading anyways, but if it happens, I'll be thrilled right along with you and the rest of the Wings' fans who will acknowledge his talent and dedication.

Cool with the "hell yeah" comment. Meanwhile, confidence, Schmonfidence. Point is, we are not Babcock. And I totally agree with you that there is no answer for that question. We can only hope there is a go-to guy for the Wings in net. We have no control over whether it's Ozzie or Conklin. My plan is to support whoever is in net. That's all I can do as a fan. Yeah, "they" are. The very poster I was responding to said that the team has to play perfect for Ozzie. That's why I wrote what I did. GO, CONKLIN! GO, OZZIE! GO WHOEVER THE HELL IS IN NET FOR THE WINGS! And meanwhile maybe the team as a whole can work on not giving up the puck in their own zone. Ya think?

Here's where I am. I have honestly lumped all you Ozzie Sucks posters in together. So, to differentiate - if you believe Ozzie is the main problem with this team....If you believe Conklin will save the day....if you believe the team is playing well enough to get through the playoffs if there's a goalie change, well I think chances are you are being unrealistic. It is simply not that simple. I would like nothing better to be proven wrong by Conklin. In fact, I will live for that moment. (BECAUSE I WILL SUPPORT WHATEVER GOALIE IS IN NET. I'M A FAN. NOT A ******* OWNER OR COACH??!!) And I will come on this board and acknowledge his talent if he pulls it off. And how about you? If Ozzie ends up saving the day for our Wings, will you do the same? I sincerely, fervently doubt it.

I can only speak for myself on this one. But the ones I'm putting on Ignore only talk about Ozzie and how he sucks. Oh yeah. There's one other one that's a just totally Mr. Negative. But I know I can still learn stuff from any posters who aren't just totally obsessed with Ozzie's play. That indeed, is its own form of insanity. And I'm just old enough to never, ever put up with that kind of s*** again.

With this statement, I give up on you. Either you can't read, or you just want to make stupid, sad little points. You're on your own, little man.

NO one, NOwhere has ever said the team has to play perfect for Ozzie. And when you resort to those kinds of absolutes you've already lost the argument. That is part of this black and white Ozzie Sucks s*** that is absolutely unbelievable. And why are you ignoring his great saves in the first two periods when the TEAM was still playing like a team? Yeah, he most definiitely let in two weak goals but then he shouldn't have to play perfect for them either when they screw up. Which they did. Meanwhile, it sounds like you're predicting right here and now that Conklin -when he comes in - and he will come in - is gonna save the day for the Wings? And it follows from your logic that the team won't have to play "perfect" for him, i.e., just play the way they've been playing? My point remains that because of the inconsistency of BOTH goaltenders, if the team doesn't pick it up as a whole chances are, we're byebye. I wish Conklin all the luck, skill and timing in the world. I honestly wish him well. Because whoever is in net, that's what I do.

And if that's true, what does that make total, unrealistic negativity?

One thing Ken said today that I did not know. That the Preds have yet to win a playoff game away from home. We can only hope...

Problem is - and will remain - we have no choice with our two, count 'em, TWO goalies. Neither of them is very consistent right now, so what do you realistically suggest for the Wings to consistently win the remaining games, other than the really simple idea that Conklin's gonna save their asses? Because if you think Conklin is the answer, you just don't understand the concept of team play. Right now, the whole team - from Lidstrom on down - is not playing to their potential. And at times, like in the third period today, they all looked pretty much like ahl'ers at times, and often at the worst of times. I don't even agree with Babcock when he said today that the Wings (not only) can't get fired up like the Preds and other teams fighting for playoff spots, but that they're just trying to remain uninjured. Bulls***. Something's gotta start clicking with THE TEAM and it cannot, will not be solely dependent on a goalie change.

Yeupp...I've written down four names in three pages. Go figure.

I don't know who's answered you since I watch the period then come runnning to the computer. They pretty much controlled play...not like in the second but still more than enough. Hustled a whole lot.
