That is such good news. Right now I'm watching "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" for fantasy's sake. But if the Sharks keep screwing up, I'm just gonna have to switch to the Directv station it's on...After all, fantasy's only a temporary heal. Now the Sharks losing....hopefully that's reality. I might be able to live on that till next Tuesday at least.

I always love reading stories like this one and jpd's. They make for great reading because they're so upbeat and therefore I choose to believe they actually happened. Even my paltry tale of cornering Lidstrom, Schneider and Hull in a Bloomingdale's in downtown Chicago for autographs still brings wondrous memories back to me. Thanks for sharing these!

In answer to your first question, yes, I watch all the games, and yeah I can get carried away sometimes, especially when I see a cut-and-dried, three-cornered-fingersnap, black and white, absolute statement. I.E., "THIS is the way it's gonna be!" I cannot think of A sport where that kind of statement is reasonable under any circumstances except maybe one hour before the playoffs begin. And I will root for the guy and hope he keeps picking up his game and makes enough waves so that yes, he might just get in the lineup. And I hadn't seen your name before here so in my mind, that makes you a hopee. Have a good one.
