The main problem here is that you are talking about "problems" that I see are absolutely uncontrollable by one human being. It has nothing to do with whether Detroit can still be called "Hockeytown" or who gets up when and why (yeah, even from 1200 miles away....urp...) or who yaks/pees/eats and who doesn't. What 's YOUR solution to All of the Above since you're the one bringing these things up? And if YOU don't have answers, WHY are you bringing them up? Since it's YOU who's unhappy, and YOU don't like these things happening around you, then YOU need to talk directly to whoever is bugging you when these things happen or talk to an usher. Or Mike Ilitch. And then YOU need to be able to deal with any and all consequences from your confrontation. NOBODY HERE can do this for you. Why you can't see this is really puzzling...

Funny you should bring that up. I almost started a new thread because this is reallly all about something else altogether. About visitors, interchange and how we treat them. And I knew putting it on page 48 wouldn't get much play. But f*** it. I meant well. But I really am so grateful for your support and input.

This is a test. Shutoutking, our visiting Pred's fan, pm'd me with the following message and we decided it might be worth inputing it on this thread. Do we (OK, the majority of us) have it in us to move on from where we were? Speaking for myself and as I wrote back to him, every board has its pubescents, passive-aggressive types, idiots and flamers, including us. I personally like it when visitors show up because (I know, God forbid) I might learn something from them. And the interchange of ideas (and wit) certainly can't hurt. Basically, I think he's an OK fan and when I think about it, that was quite a win for them, even if I do think he got carried away. Like none of us here do.....yeeeeeahh.... And he's making the effort. Do we want to do the same? If we make it happen of course there will be so-called fans ranting with the "your momma", "sister" s***, because anonymity can give losers a false sense of power. But personally speaking I think it's a chance for us to move on and mebee grow up a little from this? And I include myself. Living 1200 miles away from Deetroit, most of the original poster's gripes don't affect me a whole lot, except for the extreme eye-rolling and sighing I experienced. However, being 1200 miles away and watching the knee-jerk/jack-in-the-box idiots jump up and down and wave like they're auditioning for the next Jonas Bros audience is indeed maddening. If I were sitting behind one, I'd probably give 'em a foot in the back of their knees just to watch 'em buckle. Heh heh....

Amen and hallelujah!!!! I started a thread on this(yesterday?) because I tuned in and saw the fight at the end of the game and I wanted to know if anyone else knew what the hell happened before that. The guy is a total goon and unadulterated idiot. He kept pounding (probably) Moen in front of the Ducks' net to the point where even Guigere went after him and almost took him down. After that, he ended up behind the net pounding on somebody else....or Moen....Whoever! He seemed to be totally out of control. As I mentioned in the thread, ol' Razor Whatever, the Stars' color guy was excusing him by saying that it had just boiled over and it was too much for him. Yeeaaaahhh, riiiiiight. I couldn't be happier to see him go. Just seeing his face afterward was scary enough for me. It was bad enough and crazy enough that there's got to be a video on it somewhere, but I don't know where to tell you to look.

We can also hope it's a Come-to-Jesus-game for the team. Of course they were tired after the schedule they've played. But with any luck at all it'll also be the 2x4 between the eyes for any and all players who may have become a little complacent or apathetic. Let's hope it's all the embarrassment they need to git 'er goin' again.

Interesting about your hit and run/ duck, dodge and weave thing here. I seldom visit other boards, but even if I did, I would never, EVER go say NYAHHH NYAHHH in any form whatsoever.
