Wow. If your dad really did pass away and you're not kidding this time, I'm very sorry to hear that and if so, you're in my thoughts and prayers. Meanwhile, we'll hope that jersey gets put to good use.
-
You're not saying that goal was Ozzie's fault, right? He covered one side of the net when our boys gave it up for the 23rd time. There's no way he could get to the other side for the 24th ******* giveaway. Tonight, THE WHOLE TEAM SUCKS.
-
You really REALLY ought to write comedy. I'm serious. There are few things going on tonight that make me even want to smirk, let alone smile. Thenk yew again.
-
What YOU said. ENOUGH ALREADY!!
-
YESSir. OK, Conklin kind of stared at at least two nice, close rebounds in front of him and didn't bother to pick 'em up before they got flicked in the goal, but our team right now looks as bad as I can ever remember. Period. Gag. Puke. Retch.

You DON'T want to know...

I didn't watch anything but the ending to this game and Ott went after Niedermayer in front of the Ducks' net. Even Guigere got into it with him and almost took him down. Dallas's color guy (Razor ?) then excuses Ott by saying something like, "it just boiled over and he'd had enough". I'm hoping "enough" means he got pounded more than once, even by the Ducks. Anybody watch that game?

Tootoo is a whiney-ass punk. He can sure dish it out, but one legal hit and he wahs to the ref. No class, no how.
-
Amen again.

Agreed. And furthermore, it must mean that Hossa won't leave because he also thoroughly understands that. Right? OF COURSE, right! ....i believe, i believe, i believe.....

Jim Gregory, NHL executive, in critical condition after heart attack
Vladifan replied to commadore183's topic in General
I cannot help thinking about those who love him and what they're going through. My spouse had an angiogram and stent put in last Monday and before it happened, we both had to fight not to lose it every other minute. He's lucky because he came through it just fine. But even that was a nightmare, so can I imagine what's going on with this family? HELL no. I wish them all peace, reconciliation and healing. -
Exactly. And I think it's one of the few things about the Wings that all the so-called sports peeps recognize and acknowledge.
-
Interesting about the '06-'07 jerseys. I guess I had not been able to repress that color memory! They were wise to move on ahready. Meanwhile, I believe there was juuuust a little over-reaction to your "***" comments but since I'm only responsible for my own reactions we just move on from here, huh. It's a pleasure bantering with you and I hope you stay and visit with us.

Nicely done, and very creative. Thanks for taking the time!

Yeah, and thanks to both of you now I have to go look up "Haiku". Again. ....Like I didn't have better things to do today....hrrrrrrrrmmmphhhh..... Nice work, the both of ya's.

Neener neener back atchya. So Bonk's out. Who the hell else was I gonna try to rhyme with Conks? Huh? OK, so I didn't know. And yes, I'm gonna have to live with that the rest of my life. "***"? ... Aha! That must be it! Our guys fly so fast up and down the ice that your boyz can't seem to catch 'em. Wow. Never looked at it that way. Thanks for the warped but valuable perspective. "*** uniforms"? Helleuuu?! Better red than wearing a color that matches something I've already eaten. :puke: Meanwhile, I really do enjoy your visits. For a Preds' fan you seem quite classy.

Yo, bros. I can't thank you enough for inputing this story. It will most definitely make my week. Are we lucky and graced to be Red Wings' fans , or what?!
-
Tootoo's full of poopoo and our Conks can take on Bonk. Arnott simply cannot since he's mainly just a wonk. The Wings will whup their butts and whap them right upside their heads And the Preds will overdose on meds and probably wet their beds. (This is written partly in honor of all great poets like Shakespeare, Dickinson and Ogden Nash. And in remembrance that surely they had their bad days too.)

Wonderful win for the Oz. And never have I enjoyed a head-butting fest as much as I did the one right after the game. I'm very happy for him and the team.
-
Which reminds me...."Razor" ?? , the color guy for the Stars, recently described Avery as suffering from "Sensitivity-Deficit Syndrome". OK. So you had to be there.
-
Somebody. Please. Check the skies. I can't get up off the floor. YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
-
I had a rilly, rilly bad feeling when I saw the #2 line. But I am not going the tacky route any more by dumping on the Flip. I just will sit here through gnashed teeth and wish him well.
-
If you're referring to Oz and not yourself, he'll still look like a 16-year old with too much spirit gum and fake beard stuff on his hands.
-
Well put. I'm reading these during the first break, and what's scary is that this is all too consistent for the Wings. They've gotta get over playing (down) to the level of the other team. They gotta play their game. I know that overall they'll do well and they'll pick it up in the playoffs, but sheeeeit, it's hard to watch right now when you know how good they really are.

I personally appreciate your upbeatedness. And NO. I'm not being sarcastic.
