So yes, there's this Pred, and his name is Tootoo - You'll never see him wearing tutus or froufrou. He plays really tough with hits that makes booboos. But his timing's not fair so he's really not too cool. Here's hoping that Tootoo, who's an out-of-control choochoo Gets knocked on his butt into his own little poopoo. Not so hard that he ends up saying something like "googoo" But just hard enough so we can say, "Woo Woo!!"

And the least they can do is win this one for you! Here's to a speedy recovery, fellow Wingnut.

Mebee. On the other hand, I used to love watching Konstantinov deck somebody in the middle of the ice during play. I 'knew' Vladdy and Tootoo is not nor will he ever be a Konstantinov. Vladdy knew that timing was everything (i.e., his size should have told him he couldn't play like that, huh.) and his timing was always during play, not after the whistle.

I think you're right about Chelios and I think Mac will end up doing something in tv or radio. At least I like the idea because I think he'd be great at it, especially with the Wings. I have nothing to base it on, but I think Stuart won't make it back. I don't like Filppula on any line other than where Hossa isand I'm not sure I like him there. He is not secure enought within himself to be aggressive without knowing his ass will be covered by someone as adept as Hossa. And I dearly hope if he stays on Hossa's line he stays focused. He drives me nuttier than any other player out there...And I still liked Malts, Drapes and Leino together, but you're right, methinks. Leino will move up. He and Hossa are SO much fun to watch!!!

I really appreciate Holland's candor about trying to make sure both Hossa and Franzen understand what's going on with the other guy. And I really appreciate your input on this. Thanks.

Agreed. I don't know of any Ozzie supporters here that don't realize he has problems right now. That he needs work, and needs to improve. But right now, he's our goalie. He has been a huge part of our past glory and there's no way I will give up on him. Like it's my choice anyway! Bottom line? Babcock needs Ozzie to succeed. He can't and he won't turn his back on him. He not only understands that Ozzie needs work, he also knows that the whole team - especially the defense - needs work, if they hope to succeed this season. The whole team needs to re-focus and succeed. It's called PERSPECTIVE. Meanwhile, the flameheads here absolutely agree that Ozzie sucks. He needs to be replaced , traded or gone. Ozzie no longer has any value whatsoever to this team. Their responses have mostly to do with calling him names. Their view is absolute. Not real logical or helpful, is it... How does one arrive at such an irrational and over-emotional decision? Their egos have been damaged. It is a personal affront to them that Ozzie has let THEM down. It's not about the team or coming up with real, creative answers or even hoping that Ozzie will come through. Conklin should start and Oz, if he kisses their collective asses, may be the backup. I lift my leg in their general direction, mostly for their sheer lack of anything that would actually help this team.
