The NHL, Shanny and Bettman are reaping the consequences of their INaction on Weber. They should have laid it out then. And what goes around, especially when it's goonery in hockey, will most definitely come back around and bite you in the butt. As it damn well should. I still wish Babcock would have gotten out there and yelled his ass off and at least, started something. Now, it is so far out of hand that not only will the NHL lose potential new fans, it's gonna lose a bunch that were pretty loyal up to this point. This isn't hockey. It's WWE at it's worst.

One of the aspects of a class team is how they handle adversity. Especially when it's to the degree that's happened to the Pens. Could there be any worse example of how they fail at this? Unless maybe they killed a Flyer? If it weren't so delicious to watch them implode, you'd have to shield your eyes from the carnage.

I gotta admit the only time I really pay attention to them is when they start making total fools of themselves. Which seems to be what they're doing. And then I just eat that s*** up. They are horrible losers. Hopefully in every sense of the word.

Great post. I would have loved to see Babcock get out there on the soapbox and whale away at the officiating in this series - to the point where he would have been fined. I'd love to see what it also would have done for the Wings' players. Kind of like in basketball, ya know?

I don't think they've been better than us in every game. We were better than them in the first two games and FINALLY started waking up in the third in this game. Too little too late. Hey. That could easily his middle name.

I remember when this happened I actually started to be scared. Frightened at what the refs were calling and not calling. This does not bode well. I'm speaking about pro hockey in general.

So far, except for choosing to add traffic to the net now and then, he has been a drain on the team.
