I like what Bert did. As he said, it's part of the game. I'm proud of him for choosing to take on Weber the Weasel, no matter what we personally think of the outcome. Another thing I've been thinking about. I cannot remember one time where any team's goonery or outright physicality has slowed the Wings down much, especially this season. Their game is puck possession and they're damn good at it. Furthermore but sure as hell not less important, our boys do not pretend to be severely injured when they're not. Just another reason why they're the classiest team in the league.

Totally agree on Franzen when Weber the Weasel scored. He just backed off the play. Period.

You may not have heard the NBC guys say it, but he is getting shots in his knee during the playoffs.

Yeah his timing was bad but he'd just been hit in the face with Fisher's stick. That was also after three Wings' sticks had been broken (Gee, I wonder how those happened, you stupid-ass refs?) with NO call on any of them.

I would love to see players like Abby, Bert, Big E, Franzen and Miller play like their butts are on fire. We need their physicality. Meanwhile, it'd also be fine with me if Flip, Hank and Dats, etc., dingle-dangle their way through the Preds and watch them do their spineramas. AND TRAFFIC AT THE NET, BOYZ, TRAFFIC AT THE NET!!

It's already been stated on this thread / board that rival team fans are invited to share their artwork / shtick. I thought yours was fine and to the point. And I hope you find some more stuff to throw on here. I can't do jack as far as this stuff is concerned, but I'm grateful to check everybody's stuff out. Thanks for the effort.

Here' what I want to see happen. You know how in the past, the Wings have found really important things to focus on for winning the Cup? Twice, it was because of Vladdy. More than once, it was because there were veteran players who'd never had a chance to touch the Cup, much less hug it, kiss it and drink out of it. Maybe they don't see Weber's actions as negatively as we do. But there is no reason under the sun why they can't use most of what happened in that game to fire up, focus and win. They already must KNOW they are better than the Preds. As far as I'm concerned they have enough reason now to pull together and roll right over their ignorant, arrogant hides.

I don't think it's possible for Helm's injury to be intentional. It's really bad news not having him play, but no way could that have been on purpose. Having said that, I agree Cleary looked fired up and I was very happy for him that he felt good enough to lay it out there. I agree on all of the above. And as for Rinne being infallible, our boyz proved otherwise. Both Wings' goals were GOOD ones and totally non-flukey; and the traffic around his net was mostly great. I also agree we can definitely win tomorrow night. AND Sunday. GO, RED WINGS!!

I really wanted Weber on our team. But in my eyes he's become one of the type of players I do not respect. Any supposed "star" who makes a career out of flopping, flailing, diving, overreacting (ala Forsberg) is a loser in my book. His head jerk when Franzen hit him was nothing short of bad acting. And then the double hit on Zetterberg was sickening. Here was a player totally out of control, WITH INTENT TO INJURE. He.is.nothing.but.a.loser. I hope the NHL shows some balls and nails him.

Not sure what you've been watching but Ericsson was one of the best players on the ice tonight, especially defensively speaking. And he's been progressively getting better with each game.

I'd love to think Shanny has the last word but I don't think it's true. Bobblehead Bettman is ultimately in control.

I just watched the recorded game and you're right. Two of the goals they got were lucky deflections. We can beat their asses. I KNOW we can. We outplayed them most of the game and they did indeed get lucky bounces. And I also agree about Weber. And the ref was right there, and there's a clear shot of him, slamming his head against the glass. I cannot believe there won't be some action. And of course if it happens, the baby-poop colored fans will say Shanahan was just favoring the Wings. BULLs***.

Me too. But there's one good omen. The market's up today after being down for 3-4 days. And I've decided that's gonna be a good luck thingie for the Wings. Yes indeedy, I'm going with that.

Really, thanks for letting us know. He is slow, but he's pretty good at positioning. I hope he's not seriously injured, but I DO hope he's not playing again soon. Tacky but true.
