He looks pretty much lazy again tonight. Anybody else think he could have done something to stop the first goal from going in?
-
This ol' South Sider fixed that for you.

There are at least four of our players who've turned the puck over. Cleary, Miller, Lidstrom and Flip. I could probably name more. Enough, ahready.
-
Nope. Not him either. It's just very weird and tiresome.
-
I've been thinking it and saying it for weeks now. They are going to move him and they're showcasing him - for what that's worth, the way he's playing.

Kyle Quincey traded to Detroit in 3 team trade (TBL & COL)

And therein lies (lays?!) another point. Deetroit's got so much depth now some of those kids hanging out in Grand Rapids and elsewhere will go to waste anyway. -

At this point in the trade I don't think it's a bad deal at all. I remember that a bunch of us, including me, were griping about letting him go and watching how well he did with the Avs. It ain't obviously over yet, but right now I'm happy he's coming back HOME. -

Could somebody please tell me what our chances are of getting Shea Weber anytime soon? Is there a chance that Holland can hold off and try to pick him up later? Thanks. -
No way we'll be getting it on FSD. We'll probably have the double pleasure of NBCsports (VERSUS) plus Eddie O. I really can NOT stand him anymore. I mean I really can't. So the mute button will be very popular at our house too.

Wings played more than OK. Even with the refs' iffy calls, they won. Joey McD did his part and saved 'our' butts more than once. And it was a great call on Babcock's part to put him in this game. It wouldn't be fair to Howie to put that kind of pressure on him especially when he's still battling his injury. And Joey earned the call. Now, boyz - Go hassle the hated Hawks till you give 'em hemorrhoids. At the least, it'll be harder for them to skate.

I still can't quite believe they pulled it off. Five fricking seconds!! I'm so very happy for them. And ME!

Mayhaps. Right now, we have a picture. I'm holding my breath. I'm turning blue. I am.now.fainting....:burnout:

Sounds kinda ugly. Ericsson is definitely not that. AND HE IS PLAYING BETTER. (I'm not yelling at you. Just the idjuts who keep desperately trying to search out a scapegoat for any and all Wings' ills...)

Sure! NOW you tell me! We don't git Comcast in these hyar parts anyways. ...

Don't know who Klein is but he must have verbal pelt marks all over his body. Meanwhile, we have much-needed rain pouring down here and Directv is out. What a wuss-ass system.

Just had a run-in with Directv about this very game. The NHL channel (215 on DTV) is supposedly showing the Wings/Stars game as we speak. Wrong. Can't get it. The message says it is "blacked out". Through gnashed teeth, I patiently told the "techie" (yeaahhhh....) that it was not a live game. That it was played yesterday, so how could it be blacked out? I also told her we subscribe to the Center Ice package, so why wouldn't we get it anyway? After she first told me that the NHL channel had been moved up to another tier and we'd have to pay $5 more a month to get it, she figured out she had erred (NO s***, SHIRLEY). and talked to someone else who said that, well that happens sometimes and the NHL probably didn't have the rights to broadcast that game!? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT? How does that make any sense? Is anybody watching that game on the NHL channel? Anybody? Thanks.
-
What'd he do? Didn't see it or hear about it other than he got it.
-
Yep. Splinter City.
-
I'd take Stubhub over Ticketmaster any time. That's who we go through; and none of it's cheap, but at least you don't feel totally screwed.
-
You all remember those two home games the Wings lost to the Wild and Calgary in early November? I believe those were the last games the Wings lost at home. Well, we were there for both of them. Yep, came all the way from Texas to see 'em lose. What will you guys pay us to stay home for the rest of the season? Huh? :deal: Just kidding. Couldn't afford to extort anyways.... GO WINGS!! DUMP DALLAS!!
-
I really appreciated reading all this bidness about Nash, even though I'll probably never understand the numbers game. However, doesn't the fact remain that the Wings' biggest priority is a defenseman? What with Lidstrom's quasi-imminent retirement and Stuart's leaving for the West Coast and family?

:colorbounce::carrot: Those Wings sure make us look good, eh? GREAT game. The coronary was worth it!!
-
YES!! OK, it's a start.
