Bert's unusually scary so far. If he can't get his head into the game maybe he can use his butt to slam somebody against the boards. Meanwhile, I never know how these East/West games are gonna go, but they sure know how to hold your interest.

Damn. You're right about the Flyers. Then again, if the Wings can't get up for this game they may be a lost cause anyway.

Two things: The Flyers played yesterday and that's good for us. The bad thing is they lost so they may take their pissedness out on us. If the Flyers really hate the Bruins they'll let us win so we can tie their record. OK, three things. SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK.

This may show up later as I read on, but both Millers had a great night. The Other Brother had a shutout! Yeehaaa! I think you should go laugh in Ericsson's face about his play. And I want to be there when it happens. Honestly, t think it would be an absolute waste of his time on the toughness thing, but I still want to be there.

Then you haven't been watching him all that much. I got really tired of comments like yours so I made it a point to watch him during games. He is getting better at everything, including using his body and making better passes. Yeah, he screwed up his passing last night but who didn't (except maybe Lidstrom)? He also had three excellent shots on goal, two of them coming from close to the blue line. More than we can say for most of 'em.

There were times in the first period that our guys looked like an AHL team. No chemistry, iffy passing, and NO idea what to do with the puck. And the five on three?! Downright scary at times.

I'm thinking (OK, hoping...) that Edmonton will go into a psychoid letdown tonight after their triumphant win over those misfit South-Siders. I'm also praying that the defense is there for Conklin. Hey, if the Penguins have done as well as they have without Crosby, surely our boys will come through for our goalie?!
