Oh. Never mind. Congrats on your EXcellent taste! :beerbuddy:

Ummm, hellleuoo? If you're talking about picking Boston to take it 4-3, you ain't alone. You just better be ready to share, bubba!
-
I don't think they were booing Thomas. In fact they cheered him twice; they also cheered Lucic and Recchi. I thought they were pretty much a class act. Meanwhile, congrats to the Bruins and Timmeh Thomas!! And GOODBYE, LUOWNEDOH!
-
This is nuts. Just when their team needed them the most (with injuries and suspensions), they fell apart. Love it.
-
Anybody else hear Le Pierre say that there were 10,000 or so fans hanging out in the Vancouver arena...and when Luongo was pulled, they cheered. LOVE it!
-
You say your responses are objective. How do you know that the impact from the ice gave him the concussion? You don't. You are making an assumption that cannot be proven.

I added this to the game thread, but I think it fits pretty much here too. http://www.vancouver...3011/story.html

This is a great, candid article from the Vancouver Sun. I'm proud of them for laying it out there. http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/hockey/vancouver-canucks/Canucks+collapse+started+with+fall+Rome/4903011/story.html

:yahoo:If there is a hockey god out there pleeeeeease let this carry over.
-
This whole game is been smarmily surreal.
-
Me too, me too. Sick, but true!

LOVED that instant fetal position thing!
-
Oh, how I am lovin' this game!!! :colorbounce:
-
You're right. I don't think there was any intent, really.
-
Well now, I think you should go out there anytime you're free and show us how a "man" takes a hit like that. I'll even figure out a way to call up Mac or maybe Bertuzzi to do the honors.
-
Yeah, I know it's the Stanley Cup final, and that's all the more reason they should ALL play like they have a brain in their head so they're not kicked out of the game. ANY coach in the league would tell his guys that. Late hits happen throughout the season. Hello? And as for the same hit on Burrows? No I wouldn't be "just fine" with that, so stop trying to read my mind. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Bottom line? It was a stupid, out-of-control hit. But you know what really bugs me the most about the Canucks? I thought you'd never ask. The arrogance. The "up yours" attitude even when they know they've done something stupid and suspendable (and not got called for it). And yes, I'm referring to the finger bite. Instead of just moving on and letting it go, they decided to come back and be all cutesy and coy and macho and DUMB. You gotta earn the Cup in more ways than one, Bubba.
-
And Rome shouldn't have hit him after the puck left his stick.
-
Not good? It was another out-of-control, stupid, ill-timed, cheapshot hit. Other than that, it seems to be pretty typical of the Canucks' play. (Other than the blatant arrogance, of course.) Even if your boys win the Cup, I fervently hope it comes back sooner than usual to bite you all in the ass. Horton is one of their better players. Who the hell is Rome? KICK ASS, BRUINS!! USE IT!!!
-
Burrows' big fat teeth do indeed look at least like horses' teeth. And we can pretty much agree here that wholly speaking, he's a horses' ass.
-
Probably be a good idea then if every member of every team - other than the Canucks of course - got tetanus shots. Or better yet, rabies vaccine. And forget the Finger Thing. Maybe more useful would be brass knuckles that fit in hockey gloves to wipe the arrogant smirks off the faces of the Canucks.
-
You'd really like being with John. He is way cool. He's the stable one. As for me, I have a habit of shattering people's eardrums with my invectives and the blue air gets pretty thick. But honestly? I think we would have an absolutely fine time. LOVE your posts. Never miss 'em. You are one cool dudette.

This is me, guffawing away at your story about Ronning and Domi. Yeah boy, that made my day. Can't tell you how much my ribs hurt. :eh:This is also me, sort of wondering whether any of these broadcast hoohaas maybe suggested he should be suspended ANYway, but guessing what your answer would be anyway, true or false. :hehe:Lastly, this is me knowing that you're a Canucks' fan. Hello? EXCUSE THE DOUBLE POST. THENK YEW.

This is me, guffawing away at your story about Ronning and Domi. Yeah boy, that made my day. Can't tell you how much my ribs hurt. :huh2:This is also me, sort of wondering whether any of these broadcast hoohaas maybe suggested he should be suspended ANYway, but guessing what your answer would be anyway, true or false. :tounge:Lastly, this is me knowing that you're a Canucks' fan. Hello? P.S. I have no idea why two of the emoticons aren't showing up but I think you get my drift.

It's not enough that he doesn't have to live with the consequences of his dumbass, out-of-control actions, but the Canucks were cracking up over it. They probably still think it was all hilarious. Hockey just got another black eye and it was self-inflicted.

Dawn - Thanks! You and Linda are basically great human beings and I'm proud to know you. And I hope you're both right. Only time will tell as to how people react to my future input. Thanks again!
