I admire and appreciate a lot of you posters on here, but please don't start zeroing in on certain players. All of them played well at times, all of them played badly at times. NO one player is to blame for losing this game and probably the series. I wish you all well, but I'm probably not going to be around here much for the rest of the season. Unless of course, a miracle happens and they figure out how to beat the Sharks. I want to try to remember the good times. Peace out.

Wings went with a prevent defense and earned what they got. Sad, but true. But we can still do this. Cleary or Bertuzzi. That's my call.

I like all of this. Especially putting Draper in. He is one of the best on PK's. I think Cleary will come back and Franzen just absolutely has to get his s*** and focus together and SHOOT MORE. And please. Cut down the fricking passing in the offensive zone. JUST SHOOT AT THE NET. Niemi is very vulnerable. The Wings HAVE to take advantage of that.

I was very proud of the way they handled that four-minute fiasco. And I agree. Chances are they didn't have the energy to finish 'em off.

I agree with everything you have said earlier about this and this post too. However, the phrase "selling it/everything" just doesn't cut it. It doesn't define what's actually happening. Every time a player dives, he cheapens himself and not only loses our respect, he's got to be losing some self respect - even if he can't admit it at the time. What he's really saying is that he's not sure he can win fair and square so he cheats. He feigns. He pretends. This is not a ******* kids' playtime activity. This is a real game where everyone is supposed to play TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY. Meanwhile, the diver does NOT trust his own talent and creativity enough to play by the rules. It sickens me, and it pisses me off that the refs will not acknowledge what's actually happening out there. Did you see the bearded wonder sitting on the bench, laughing while he rubbed his chin? Forsberg did it early and often and I will never respect him again because of it. And he was one of the best players of his time. I can only hope that karma will come back and bite them in their prat-falling asses.

Drew Remenda and fellow a-hole cohort did EVERY Sharks' game in the last series. EVERY game. I'm guessing those biased pieces of s*** will probably do the games in Detroit too. VERSUS is without conscience. They just don't care. I haven't read through the first period stuff, but did anyone else hear Remenda imply that Helm took a dive instead of being tripped up? Condescending as hell. Where the f***'s that pot-calling-the-kettle graphic?
