I don't understand why posters keep putting Big E down. Yeah, he started out shaky tonight, but he ended up being a real force out there, more than once.

And at the point they showed those stats, he only had one shot on goal. Don't know how it ended for him. Don't give a s***, actually.

I was also thinking if the corners of his mouth went down any further, his lower jaw would fall off.

Actually, I think we had more breaks tonight. I thought the refs let a lot of stuff go, and I firmly believe Phoenix got one or two more iffy calls than we did. I was actually shocked, but pleased.

Interesting thing that you should bring that up. For ONCE, I saw a play that could have been called on us - a penalty on Draper - for holding toward the end of the first period. When they did not call it, I ran out and checked the skies. Lotsa luck there, because I couldn't see s***.

Surprise! Kunitz threw a deliberate elbow on Gagne in tonight's game and with any luck at all, should be suspended. We can only hope, eh? Meanwhile, it'll be interesting to see what Super Mario comes up with - if anything - about Kunitz's blatant penalty. Downie also made a huge hit behind the net that will probably be looked at. But I'm really hoping for Kunitz to get nailed. He really earned it.

And if Jovo the Jerkoff thought he could get away with it, he'd be Sir Laurence Olivier (the dentist)in "Marathon Man".

Also, seeing Doan's mouth, I kept imagining a puck being shoved into it. Ah. One can dream, eh?! You gotta be kidding me! SOME of us can't do any of this stuff. That whole thing just reeked. It was a bulls*** call. And NObody, including Panger, admitted what a bulls*** call it was. And the thing about Jovo grabbing Helm's face (other than it could have been a REAL call) reminds me of comments all the announcers agreed to during the Lakers' game made about Kobe's meltdown. And that is, as an athlete gets older and can't do what he used to be able to do, he gets frustrated. THAT, I believe, in a nutshell is what happened to Jerkoff Jovonoski. I honestly hope he's out of the series, whatever happened to him.

He really had a good game. I'm very happy for him and proud of him.

As the game turned out, this could have been the theme of this whole frickin' thread. ANYbody needs to take that jerkass, cheapshot piece of s*** out.
