Don't know if you're kidding or not, but it certainly oughta be included in ANY national hockey coverage. Directv, are you listening? (HELL, no!) :noevil: Bryzgalov and Yandle and Doan, OH MY! Bryzgalov and Yandle and Doan, OH MY! I'm not making fun of your post. I'm askeert too! I just couldn't resist the temptation to mess with it.

Well, sheeeeit. Didn't look far enough down the post. I did wonder why mine looked different. So, we try again. So, do all of you in and around Michigan luck out and get CBC? Because all we'll get in Texas is Versus. My very favorite ******* channel in the whole world. Directv will NOT subscribe to CBC or TSN. We get them only as afterthoughts on NHL network.
-
I like this idea a whole lot. I'll do the same as you, Vladdy. $20 for a series win; but instead of Franzen, I'll pick Zetterberg for multi-goal games. He WILL be back, and soon! Hopefully, it'll be an impetus for him to get his butt and knee back in the game.

The Wings did what they had to do/chose to do and they played their asses off and beat the Hawks. That's really all I basically cared about. Yeah it would have been great to see Chicago out of it, but I believe the Vancouver/Chicago series will be one of the toughest to get through; and the Ducks/Preds series is also gonna be a knock-down-drag-out one. Meanwhile, hopefully the Kings will find a way to take it to San Jose. So right now, I think it's looking good for our guys.

Oh, I hope this is indeed what happens and they start on Thursday. I've got stuff going on Wednesday too. Hooohaaa!
-
Ya still got it, kid.
-
Just about this time I was screaming at the Wings to "Use it!" And ultimately, they did.
-
OK, but you realize you missed the sound of Eddie O peeing his pants with every Hawks' goal? Then again, his voice got so high that only dogs could hear him anyway. He had one and a half bad plays that I saw. Otherwise he played solidly.
-
Because no one in charge, including the NHL, and especially VERSUS and/or NBC, gives a s***. They see nothing wrong with any of it or they would understand that HOME ANNOUNCERS SHOULD DO HOME GAMES. HELLO???!! :ranting:
-
I AM SO DAMN PROUD OF THEM FOR THEIR EFFORT!!! GO, WINGS!! GO, JUMPIN' JIMMEH!!!!!!
-
Sorry, but that's bulls***. A tripping call should have been made.
-
Somebody oughta communicate that news to the locker room. Maybe it would help. Then again, to do so would give those talking puppets some cred. ...nawww.....Just beat the s*** out of them on their own terms.
-
The first goal will be huge in this game. Hawks are tight and not in rhythm yet. And our guys are NOT playing that badly. I see so much more hustle, focus and feistiness out of them than the last game. There is hope, but they must play like they know they can.
-
This is it. In a nutshell. Everyone can say whatever they want, but if nothing else, this game should be a matter of pride in one's talent and work ethic. And KNOWING they can win. I want them to win for their sakes. I want them to know the joy of beating a feisty but arrogant team. I figure I owe them that after the years of thrills, excitement, joy and oh yeah, the pain and frustration. But mostly there were the positives.
-
Ain't gonna happen unless Yzerman gets to bite him in the butt Big Time.
-
NO. PLEASE. NO points for the Hawks, or they're in. Correct?
-
That would give me motivation right there. Plus all the rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth, STOOPID Hawks fans who will be yelling, "Red Wings suck!"
-
Technically speaking, I have NO idea what you're talking about but I say the Wings win. I have no logic, stats or whatever to back it up, other than the fact that I still think the Wings are a class organization and I cannot believe they will go down without proving to themselves they can DO this.
-
I like you, agree with you and I hope you come visit often.
-
I sure do like these matchups. Even in the East. Now, who do I call to see that the last two games of the season are cancelled? http://www.nhl.com/ice/standings.htm?type=pla
-
Maybe. But some of us only fervently hope they have to play each other because no matter who wins that matchup, they will wear each other down.
-
s***. I was afraid of that.

OK, a question. (Which probably was already been answered but I wouldn't know where to look.) IF Dallas wins tonight and against Minnesota Sunday, what happens with the Hawks? Especially if we lose to them again in Chicago on Sunday? THANKS.
