The whole team has sucked. All that talent; all that fired-up youth and the Wings are showing nothing. No imagaination, no aggression, no finesse. It is damn scary. If this kind of score lasts it'll be most important to see how they react to their gutless play. -

It's an omen! Right now, Versus is showing the Wings' Stanley Cup adventures from (I think) 2008, because Dallas Drake is part of it and so is Rafalski. GREAT fun! Oh Lord, Maltby's on now. Following him was Big Mac; then Drapes. Remember Mac's big ice cream sundae? Ah, those were the days.

The NHL network is much better at letting home announcers call games than Versus. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm guessing it'll be the Hawks' home announcer. Sickening...

This game is gonna be on Versus here. I HATE Versus. And you can bet it'll be Eddie O. and Pierre LaPoop doing the play-by-play, even though it's in Detroit. Makes me want to upchuck. And you can't even ***** to them because you can't email them. Such a class organization.

I say pee on the pinging puck. I don't want to meet up with Nashville. They always give our guys fits. I'd sooner our guys play the Hawks because I truly think we can beat them, especially if everyone's healthy.

It's like the "upper body injury" thing. I'm sure you already know that no team, especially at this point in the season, wants to give anything away that could hurt their chances. It's maddening, but we probably won't know anything till the day or so before he's ready to come back. I hope his injury is minor. And who the hell wouldn't want all their playing goalies to be healthy and mostly injury-free? Any other thought/hope is beyond comprehension.

Just to clear something up that Ken was saying. The Griffins weren't playing the Texas Stars in Dallas. They were playing them in Cedar Park, about 20 miles north of Austin. May not mean much to you out there in the Hinterlands, but to us Cedar Parkians, it's of absolutely vital interest. Thank you for your kind attention.
