You are a sweetheart for putting this on here. I never saw this one either. I just sat here and watched this and cried happy tears. You're in the will! THANKS!!
-
Now that I've calmed down, that would figure. We get all the sports channels too so with any luck at all...

He had a very good game and I'm very happy for him.

It sure as hell helped my attitude to see Chara beaten later by our 2-on-1 goal in the third. I'm ignoring the fact that his own guys got beat in the neutral zone.
-
Oh yeah. Then they could have put Kindl and/or Salei out there again while he sat in the bin.

The gigantic pisser for me and anyone else who can't get FSD or whoever you locals got, is that we did not get to see the Ozzie tribute. He's one of my faves, and we may never get to see it. GRRRRR... Or did you absolutely have to be at the game to see it?

Hey. Just know you're not alone on this board.

Another thing about these kinds of posts. I'm finally able to read this thread the day after, and I find myself totally skipping all the goalie-oriented ones. They weren't relevant to what actually happened during the game and they are definitely not now. I'd like to think there's a message in there somewhere?

Wellll, alrighty then!! Hindsight is SO much more fun than foresight! Was that cool, or what?! That was a pleasant sooprahz!

We just got home from a party. Spouse was driving; I was doing my usual bitching about not being able to get scores on even ESPN XM radio. When ALL of a sudden, "he" starts talking about the game (meanwhile they're showing the pics on TV of course, which we can't see) and mentions Bert's and Cleary's goals; then I'm desperately trying to follow and finally he says "6-1 Wings over Boston". I start screeching, jumping up and down, I'm pounding on my husband's shoulder. Now I'm home and I'm gonna watch it tonight and probably again tomorrow. Life is good.

I agree with this. I'd be thrilled if his statements just acted as a small 2x4 between their eyes and got the lead out at the other end. It's called Team Work, boyz....

Thanks! Sounds really promising and I will check it out.

"From my standpoint as a guy who is physical on the ice, guys are trying to be physical with me," Cooke said. "I know who's on the ice, and I'm responsible for myself. I'm not going to leave myself in a vulnerable position two feet from the boards when I know someone's coming." With any luck at all, he hasn't even seen physical response to him yet. With any luck at all, he will. Very soon.

I want to/have to think that the Wings heard/felt what Babcock said and did to them and they will see the light. And it won't be that damn train at the end of the tunnel. Maybe, just maybe they'll be so tired from their workout that they won't over-react and try too hard?

Is that a tour-type boat? I must Google that puppy!

I like what Robitaille said. "When you start to think, you're behind."

I didn't see the game but spouse said that Mickey said that he thinks they're tired, because of all the injuries. And it's beginning to wear on them. I hope to hell that that's pretty much considered academic and moot. They will feel a WHOLE lot better when they start winning again and playing.like.a.team. I personally think they're all pushing. Although again, I didn't see last night's game.

Me too!

Is he the Michigan kid?

Anybody got a horse's head handy? Doesn't probably have to be a race horse-type.

Now, in spite of Cooke, the Criminal, THIS is funny! Thanks!

I want to think that my email to the NHL hockey officials did the trick. If they received enough of them, hey, why not!?

Agreed. There might be a generational thing at first, but I don't think it would last long. Methinks we'd end up cracking each other up and having a fahn tahm. As for anything further than that, you'd have to talk to my long-time spouse.
