After watching our games with the Devils and Flyers, I'm wondering if Western Conference dominance is not just wishful thinking and parity is becoming the reality. Or maybe it's true that the Wings just had two off games. Thoughts?

How true! What is about "challenging" times that makes it seem at least three weeks long. Ecccshhuuualllly, I AM counting three weeks of negatives, back-to-back-to-back. Could be worse, eh?!

Couldn't they go out and find Lemieux, drag him in there and beat the s*** out of him again? Just for old times' sake? And yes, indeedy, I am unreasonably venting. Hasn't been a real good week around here.

What I choose not to believe right now is that the Red Wings do have a tendency to play up or down to the level of their opponents. As long as they keep beating our real rivals it's academic. All I know is that their play last night was dramatically better all the way around than it's been recently. Waaay more focused and aggressive, instead of being reactive. LOVE it. Keep it up, boyz!

Fascinating. Because I've decided both Sedins must be ***. In the third they were hugging and clutching and NO FRICKING CALLS. They really need to come out of the closet. And then there were the two trips within about 10 seconds of each other and NO CALLS. Sheeeeit.
