Right now, our game's listed on Fox Detroit at 9 pm here in Texas. Versus seems to be picking up the feed at 10pm. OH, I hope we get the Deetroit feed. Please, PLEASE??!! Good point! I just checked Center Ice and it's on there. Both team's feeds are listed in wusspic and in HD. Yeehaaaa!

You have correctly pegged the total insanity, arrogance and stupidity of the non-call. This was the ultimate insult to the Wings and a total eye-opener about how badly most NHL games are officiated.

I know our guys looked bad in the 2nd and 3rd periods. But first off, I do not believe the Yotes can keep up that kind of physical pressure. They started losing their drive and got out of position near the second half of the 3rd. During that time the Wings had some scoring chances that our guys obviously didn't take advantage of but it was already turning around in that game. Just not enough time left to pull it off. Maybe they were reading too much of their good press. But I cannot believe our boyz won't turn it around and soon. Meanwhile, I agree Williams was almost non-existant and guys like Bert didn't start really moving till late in the game. On the other hand, Ericsson had some really good shots on net in the 3rd.

Colorado just went ahead 2-1 with 49.3 seconds to go. I figured that one might be a close series. Sure hope to hell the Wings' one isn't. GO, WINGS!!!

It's not quite at the end of the tournament, but I don't think I can hex him by saying he's gonna WIN it. His wife Amy is there and as you probably know, she's fighting breast cancer. This makes his win all the more poignant and special. I am so happy for them. And I hope to God she heals completely. He won it. EDIT: Whoops. Spelled his name wrong, but you knew that.

I had a thought while Phil was hugging Amy. It would be a really good thing if Tiger had even a passing thought about something like that happening to Elin. I'd like to think it would give him a whole new perspective on his past lifestyle. I hope that statement's not considered a judgment call. I'm working on staying away from that kind of reactive behavior.

I really can't add anything to what's already been said here, and most of it's been said so well. McCarty and Konstantinov especially will always be alive in my memories of past Wings' glory. And yeah, I too feel older remembering them and their contributions. On the other hand, I was "there", and NObody can ever take those brilliant and shining memories from me. Those two specifically, plus the Russian Five's play will forever be enshrined in my brain cells.

I sure hope you're right. I've checked the Directv schedule and the Pistons/Timberwolves game is listed on FSD for that time period (Wed/9pm). ...Unless they put it on 664? Right now, the Detroit game is only listed on Versus. Urp.
